The romantic Monastery Hotel in the peaceful garden of the Strahov Monastery offers superb views of Prague Castle, Lesser Town, the Old Town and the Vltava river. Prague Castle is just a few steps away and all the other historic sights of the Golden City are easily accessible on foot as well or by public transport. The modern interior design uniquely complements the ancient style of this building. All rooms feature a flat-screen satellite TV, free high-speed internet and tea and coffee making facilities. An internet point and a wireless internet zone is available in the lobby free of charge. Drinks can be purchased at the reception, which can also arrange sightseeing tours and excursions. Due to the historic monument protection there is no elevator in the building. All rooms are accessible only by stairs. The reception is only open from 07:00 to 19:00. When booking 9 or more people or 4 or more rooms for the same date, through one or more bookings, the hotel may apply different payment and cancelation policies. Please note that the same credit/debit card that was used for the prepayment of your booking needs to be presented upon arrival. If you are not the card holder or wish to cover the cost of the booking with a different credit card, please contact the hotel in advance. Contact details are stated in the book ng confirmation. It is possible to park your car in locked parking in hotel’s backyard (max. width 85 in, max. height 75 in). Reservation of parking is required.

This was the mistake fabulous place to spend 4 days in Prague. Perched up in the monastery grounds it gives the best views over Prague....sunset offered a spectacular view from the bench! The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was so fresh and varied...the weather allowed us to enjoy it outside on the patio...Great to linger with a cuppa listening to the birds and church bells. It was straightforward to get the trams as well as some lively downhill strolls to the centre. Can't recommend it enough! Also...bug shout out to fantastic small brewery and restaurant next door...we ate thete every night it was so lovely!

The location is perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle but close to the tram stop. The hotel is on the Monastery grounds and is beautiful. The restaurant next to the hotel serves excellent food and other restaurants and shops close by. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent

We loved the location next to the monastery, with a peaceful garden and amazing views over the city. The area was very quiet at night, a bit removed from the crowds but an easy walk to the castle and not far from the Old Town. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and included a variety of options. Our standard room was small and simple, but comfortable and very clean. The room was a bit warm, but we knew this was a possibility in a historic building without AC during summer. The bathroom smelled a bit musty, but it was very clean so this may have come from the pipes.

The hotel is in a heritage building which is an attraction itself. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Our room had a lovely view. Breakfast is delicious and also the outdoor sitting area is very pleasant. Very friendly and welcoming people. They also offered a parking facility in their inner courtyard. All the Prague attractions are within walking distance. Also there is a nice beer-garden and restaurant around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We have really enjoyed the quiet location away from all hustle bustle with a fabulous view to the city. We have found our room a bit small and hot during the night

perfectlocation, a bit of a hidden gem with a brewery in thew monastry garden. Excellent breakfast, parking available on the premises and on walking distance from town center, which can also be reached by public transport. not all rooms have airconditioning. Toprooms do.

Room was upgraded for us. Ground floor with lots of space and ensuite. We are two active people in our seventies but very much appreciated not having to climb the stairs to get to the room. It was also close to the reception and the breakfast room with access to the garden and terrace. It was also quiet - we were not disturbed by the monastery bells.

A unique location with friendly, helpful staff! We only had one night here, but would certainly stay again! Breakfast buffet was splendid, we ate on the patio, enjoying every minute. Thank you for the wonderful privilege of our stay! We are fine with the stairs, but good idea to continue letting others know :)
