The Charles

The room was beautiful l and the staff were very accommodating of dietary needs at breakfast going out of their way to provide additional options, truly above and beyond.

Fantastic location, fantastic views from the 3rd floor. Good people working here like in the good old days. They tried to help, explain, especially Jan should be given an applause . -

Helpful staff, clean, great breakfast

Particularly liked the friendly, helpful staff, both on the welcome desk and in the breakfast room. Very good breakfast . . Central but quiet..Preferred to be in the lesser old part of the city.

Loved the room! It was beautiful, the location was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was also very clean The room was facing the street and it made sleeping a bit challenging because it was quite loud at night.

Great breakfast, very friendly staff, excellent location next to the Charles Bridge. There was a food smell in the room by the morning. Room cleaned only each second day. Almost no electric sockets in the room. Strange for the modern time. Lighting not zoned, only two options for the entire room: on and off.

Everything was perfect - great location, fantastic breakfast, amazing room and atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Totally worth it, I recommend this magnificent hotel.

Amazing painted ceiling. 1 minute walk from tram stop, few minutes from metro station & 2 minutes walk from Charles Bridge, located right in the heart of everything in central Prague. Great staff. Central location and the receptionists! Nothing

Staying at this hotel feels like stepping back in time. From the moment you walk in, you are transported to an 18th-century atmosphere, surrounded by historic Baroque interiors, beautiful details, and the unique charm of Mala Strana. At the same time, you have all the modern comforts you would expect from a 21st-century hotel. The location is excellent — within walking distance of Charles Bridge and practically all of Prague’s main sights. The breakfast was excellent — varied, fresh and delicious, served in a beautiful setting that once again made me feel as though I had stepped back into the 18th century. I would especially like to mention the wonderful girls at the reception and in the breakfast restaurant. They were incredibly kind, friendly and genuinely cheerful. For a personal celebration, they prepared a lovely surprise for me, which truly touched me and made my stay even more special. These thoughtful little gestures are what turn a good hotel into a place you genuinely want to return to.

The location is perfect, quiet, close to everything. The hotel is unique, very beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, delicious and with many variations and choices!
