Large group, and the staff worked with us to accomodate everyone even as a group size increased unexpectedly. Location was close to rail station, old town, etc.

    Good!

Had some unsavoury male guests in neighbouring dorms. Thankfully I was in a female dorm, and my dormates were nice enough.

It was so noisy at night, so much slamming doors and yelling all hours of the night.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

I was lucky that the others in the room were very quiet ?

Free juice, not far from the station The room was incredibly dusty. I am adding pictures of the dust I wiped with a cloth in the room. Upon entering i immediately started getting asthma from my dust allergy. The floor was dusty and dirty. I ended up wiping around my bed a bit but I still couldn't sleep most of the night because I kept having an allergic reaction and couldn't breathe well. I also found old pills and crumbs of food under my bed. Please refer to the pictures I have posted to see what the cloth looked like when I wiped some of the dust just around my bed, not even in the whole room. I have had issues with dust in hotels a number of time but this was exceptionally bad, a place has to be extremely dirty to be so bad that I have trouble breathing. I am currently in a very clean Airbnb and the difference from A Plus hostel is incredible

Room 305, bed 02 beside the window, sleep and rest are the last thing you will get. There’s a bar downstairs that will keep you awake eyes wide open the whole night, laughter and loud noises will go on till your brain shuts down. On top of that, the squeaky metal bed frame will scratch your ears every time you move by an inch. The room door gets slammed each time it’s closed because it’s a one way lock, and there’s no way you can prevent it… definitely not choosing this hostel again despite its great location.

Beds were not very comfy and not having the ability to rent a towel if you are staying in a dormitory is a hassle.

Dear Booking.com Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a very bad, unsafe, and unacceptable experience during my recent stay that was booked through your platform. On the last night of my stay (the third night, which was added upon arrival), a female receptionist came to my room around 10:00 AM, woke me up while I was in my bed, and informed me that I must leave the room and move to another one for the final night. Although it was only one night left (around 12 hours), and despite the inconvenience, I accepted the situation as I work as a hotel sales manager myself and I understand operational challenges and overbookings. However, the serious issue started after I was given the key for the new room and bed number 3. When I entered the room and lay on bed number 3, after around 10 minutes, a man entered the room shouting, screaming, cursing, and aggressively telling me: “Get off, this has been my bed for the last 2 years!” This situation was extremely frightening, unsafe, and unacceptable. Out of fear, I left the bed and moved to another one, but I was afraid to sleep in the room at all. Later, the man unpacked six very large bags into the room, filling most of the space. The room became extremely overcrowded, smelled unbearable, and was full of strange items that appeared to be collected from trash. He also stayed awake all night watching a movie on his laptop at very high volume. The room was meant to accommodate 4 people, but the conditions were completely unlivable, unsafe, and inhumane. Because of this, I could not sleep at all. My train was at 9:00 AM, and I left the hostel at 4:00 AM to go to the station just to escape this situation.

My bed is broken too noisy from others that’s why I’m not comfortable

Excellent location and 24 hour front desk was very helpful. Only complaint was walls were a little thin but nothing anybody can do about that.

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

It is near the tourist spots and city center

The furniture and the bedding didn't look dirty, yet I don't think too much cleaning was done in the room before my check in because the floor was completely dirty (food crumbs etc. everywhere). I found the bed very uncomfortable to sleep on, but that's more of a personal question. But it was extremely creaky. Be aware that the place is very noisy (the elevator and the doors are really loud and due the echoe if anyone is doing anything in the corridors it gets very noisy)
