Disappointing

Everything was perfect Nothing to dislike

My only criticism of Union Hotel, hence the less than best ratings on "comfort", "room", and "facilities", is that the AC was not working. I did get to move to another room, but the AC didn't work there either. My second room had more windows for ventilation, but it didn't cool the room down enough. I was there in early June, '26. Everything else was great. Clean room, friendly staff who all spoke English better than I spoke Czech, which is always a plus, and great location right at a tram stop, near a grocery store and various restaurants. Including the one directly downstairs. Also the internet went down my last night there. Apparently because it rained a little. That was a bummer. The air conditioners and wifi could have worked better.

Great hotel near Visegrád. The restaurant is very good, and there are shops and a tram stop nearby. I recommend it. No TV in the room.

Close to Tram line.. easy to get home No TV reception in room. Unable to connect to the Internet - ok cause I had my own Elevator was not working I evening as we are older 5 flights of stairs to the top.. not impressed No water one morning unable shower that day.. or wash hands Room a bit tired

The fact that the train stopped just outside was great. Easy to travel over all. There was alot of noise, the AC was like broken. Had to keep the window open during evening. That meant listening to heavy traffic. Also the cleaning was absent. The staff didnt speak english, when i got hold of them..( cleaning late afternoon was no good). The fact that there was a tv, but not working was just misleading when i was making the reservation.

Silent and good location, nice and helpful staff, comfortable beds and housekeeping. First night we got room without working AC. From the second night, we got new room, but usually in the morning there was no hot water to shower.

The hotel has a good location, 5 tram stations to the citt center. Tje room was large, new bathroom, ac, We were tired, is true, but not usefull informations about parking, there are places around but we didn t find any and manage parking a tram station away. Had no heavy luggage, but it was raining.

Everything worked so well I hardly noticed the place, which is ideal when I'm passing through a city for a few days and just want everything to work. Perfect transport links.

Good location trams outside the front door, straight into the city. Good size rooms and the balcony was nice to stand on and cool down in a morning. Central location with good transport links. Staff not easily accessible, quoted a 24h reception the first night our card didn't work, reception had a sign saying back in 15 mins, another guest was waiting and said they had being there for 20 mins already. Rang the number no answer, followed the music pumping out from round the corner and all the staff drinking and partying. Did sort the card but took ages. No ac and "banned" from opening windows on the note on the reception, due to flies. The window was the only option to not die in the room due to heat.

Very close to the tram. The air conditioning was not maintained for years and black mold was visible at the AC. After switching it on, there was only warm smelly air. No repair or other room was offered.

Perfect for a couple using public transport for exploring culture and nature of Prague and surroundings.
