About Old Prague House
Spend your holiday in the Old Prague House, a pleasant, family guest house, in the heart of the romantic old Prague center. The building of the guest house dates back to the beginning of the 15th century. This merchant's house was listed as a protected historical building in 1958 and represents an authentic example of the architecture and craftsmanship of its time. Some of the most important historical sites of Prague, such as the Charles Bridge, the National Theater, or the Old Town Square with the Prague Astronomical Clock, can be found in the immediate vicinity of the guest house. If you want to taste the colorful night life of Prague, you can choose from a variety of pleasant bars and popular clubs, such as the Karlovy Lázně club, located only 656 feet from our house. A ten minute stroll through the picturesque streets of the Old Town will take you from the guest house straight to the Wenceslas Square. The Prague Castle can also be reached on foot after a more than pleasant thirty minute walk.

Location was amazing, very local but still quiet we heard no noise from the streets. Family of 5 .Room was a great size and very clean. Staff are very friendly. Beds are comfy Breakfast could have a few more options for children. Maybe just add a children's cereal and some different types of pastrys. Staff were amazing at breakfast, when things ran out they were fast to top up and couldn't do enough for us

Room with private bathroom, mini fridge, and comfortable beds. The linens were very clean. Fresh breakfast every day. The location is good, you can go walking everywhere. The owners have an amazing disposition and did everything for us to be comfortable. Good price Our bedroom did not have AC, however the owners provide us with a fan. This is an old building so not all the bedrooms have AC, we stayed in this place during the heat wave.

Great location, very friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast with great variety of options. Room was attended to daily, even the loo roll folded into little triangles... Very little, a bit more ventilation might have been good but we were perfectly comfortable.

Old Prague House is a family run lodging very close to the Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge. The staff was quite friendly and helpful with one person even leading us to the grocery store at the end of his shift. They helped arrange our pick up at the airport and were very gracious in adjusting my reservation when I accidently booked the wrong dates. They responded quickly to all of my correspondence. The rooms were clean, and towels were changed daily. There was even a mini-frig in the room. I really enjoyed having the apple strudel at breakfast. (Don't expect it at every breakfast.) I would definitely stay here again. We were happy with Old Prague House. Others might be concerned with having to walk up stairs, having a fan for air conditioning, or having outside noise (especially during the World Cup). A note, when putting in the direction on your phone, this is Old Prague HOUSE, not Old Prague Hotel or Old Prague Hostel. We made that mistake.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent—you can easily walk to all the main attractions, which made exploring the city so convenient. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They accommodated our early check-in and even offered us complimentary drinks before check-in and after check-out, which was such a thoughtful gesture. On our last day, they stored our luggage safely so we could enjoy the city without having to carry our bags around. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We truly appreciated everything they did for us and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!
