The stay was really pleasant, in fact we were in prague for a second week so we had a comparison. We chose this hotel after several good reviews about breakfast. But we found much more. The cleanliness was really good, they cleaned really every day and I don't mean just making the bed, but actually cleaning, taking the trash out, putting other towels. The reception was friendly and prompt. They didn't hover and explained everything shortly as I expected. I like it better like this, ao for me, this was good. We stayed in room one which is with large windows to the street but I felt safe, cause the facility ihas surveillance so I only needed to not open the wimdow and leave it unattended. It was a busy area, but again I disn't mind that cause we live in a equally busy area at home so in fact we feel quite eerie if it is too silent. The bed was one queen bed, which was again great and if was soft which I liked. The breakfast was simple but ok, the hotel seemed to host a variety of more touristy people. Which mattered after having previous experience with hotels that were more about business people. People tend to be happier and louder when on vacation, so we didn't feel out of place or like we have to tend to people's noise tollerance on our vacation. It definitely had a vacation vibe. That is what we wanted. Also, around the corner is a huge mall so we didn't have to think much about eating affordable and good food. There is international cuisine so there is something for everyone. That really made a difference for me, cause I concluded sadly that czech food is not to my taste at all....just too much survival food, no taste, no salt, too sweet, too heavy on the stomach. and preffered to feed myself tastier stuff at the foodcourt. The variety was very much appreciated.

Our overall experience was quite good. - the location is very good, there multiple tram lines and metro departing close by and you could even walk if necessary. Safe and quiet neighbourhood. - several options for restaurants, breweries and supermarkets nearby. - the room was very spacious and clean; the furniture looked a bit old and worn though. The value, however, was not very good (for the total price): - breakfast was basic with boiled/scrambled eggs and sausages, bacon. Very limited options otherwise and low quality (e.g. cakes, bread). Practically the same options every day. - our experience with the staff was peculiar: the interaction was very limited, they hardly greeted us on arrival/departure and it seemed as if it they simply filled a position behind the counter. Upon our check-out though, they asked us if we wanted to leave a tip. When I politely evaded the question, they brought it up again; It felt particularly weird since no one from the staff ever offered any help, e.g. with luggage/stroller (there are some steps at the entrance), opened the door for us for the luggage storage room, provided any suggestions for the city or even asked us if we were simply enjoying our stay.

Our room was a bit of a challenge to get to with our luggage. It was up and down a steps after the elevator.

The breakfast could have more options

The room was excellent. The windows opened up to let in fresh air, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had no shelf for toiletries, which was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise great stay.

There is not a kettle and towel in the room.
