I loved the location. Room was perfect for the price. Noise from the pub wasn't too bad and the bathrooms seemed newly renevated with excellent shower heads Only one power point in the room but considering the age of the building, a minor gripe

No hot water. Shower facilities were filthy. Very disappointing.

The location was fantastic. The pub downstairs was excellent, very nice food and atmosphere. Lovely staff. The rooms are a bit run down, they could do with some fresh paint. Some more hooks in the shower cubical as there is no seat to put your clothes on. Get an electrician in to raise the power points off the floor as my phone charger wouldn't fit.

was a pretty chill time! the location is great; next to ptv, near all the shops/cafes, venues, etc. room is pretty much just a bed and lil table which was all i needed it for! bathroom/shower and kitchen area have the basics. it's on top of a pub so there's noise from downstairs until around midnight (not as crazy as a backpackers but similar type of noise) but it was footy friday when i went and it honestly wasn't that bad even with that type of crowd so it didn't bother me. only issue really is that because the building is old and the rooms are small, it gets really got and there isn't any AC. they do provide a fan which worked fine for me, but something to consider if you run hot! overall a really painless experience with no real problems!

Excellent facility. Has everything you could need in one place. Pub, beer garden, sports bar and a small bottle shop below the accomodation but not noisy at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room is small but comfortable bed, tea and coffee, fan and heater. Toilets and showers were very modern and clean and maintained. 6 minute walk to chapel street but street noise is a minimum. So very worth the value and will be returning no doubt.

Location was fantastic for the F1 weekend, about a 10 minute to the track. Large room with comfortable beds within the large room, all linen provided. Card keys for everyone was very much welcomed. Shared bathrooms facilities were plenty, modern and efficient, as it seemed to be recently renovated since bathroom pictures were posted; three toilets, three showers and three sinks. Not perfect, but more than adequate, hot and cold showers and exceptionally clean space. Adequate kitchen area with complementary laundry machines and detergent. Adequate fridge, too, but another would have been better. However, didn't use too often. Despite the downstairs pub being busy during the night, it wasn't too distracting and didn't interfere with our sleep (maybe because we had long days and sleep was never going to be an issue). Pub definitely a bonus, great food and atmosphere. Fantastic staff interactions upon check-in, with special shout out to Dom for making our room pleasant for our stay, no request was an issue and facilitated with no issues, excellent staff member with great attitude, friendly manor and willingness to accommodate any request, while keeping us informed. General cleanliness of the room could have been better, and addition of an air conditioner, the fans just don't cut it; too humid and hot, required windows left open overnight that invited mosquitoes and 8-legged creatures to enter the room during our sleep. Additional powerpoint outlets would have made our stay comfortable regarding power access (especially since the two fans required an outlet each). Storage could definitely be improved upon, with very limited drawer space in furniture that felt very flimsy, and no cupboards and hanging space, only 2 hooks behind the door, which wasn't enough for three people; we definitely had to be creative in ensuring our only issued towels could be hung dry for use the following occasion, as well as storage of personal belongings. Despite the bathroom being modern, they were cramped and lacked storage space to hang our clothing/towels once inside the shower area (one hook per shower isn't enough). General maintenance of lights and toilet roll holders were required. Also, signage to indicate that cleaning was in progress would have helped. And initial messages regarding the accommodation of our requests made it sound like it was too hard to even try and facilitate our bed situation, despite initial advertising that had to be corrected once it was pointed out (a free cancellation was offered due to the mistake, but this was already in place within booking.com and also impossible to get a better priced accommodation for the F1 weekend so close to the event). Side entrance can be improved upon, with maintenance and lighting. No room service during our stay. All this skewed in consideration to the amount we paid for our total stay.

The meals were fantastic No air con in rooms bed was to low for disabled person the stairs were to steep

The location was great - gorg pub. Def wouldn’t choose to stay again but the atmosphere of the pub was great. Tiny room. Hot, only a small fan. Nothing to keep the window open for airflow. Dropped something under the bed and when I went to pick it up there was tissues, rubbish, and other peoples belongings still there- obviously not being checked and cleaned between guests.

Good shared cooking space with washer & drier. Some dampness.

The location is close to public transport and cafes, it is convenient to order great food on site, the staff are friendly and helpful.
