Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Prattville Montgomery

Staff were friendly. You get what you pay for with the rooms- however our air didn’t work. It stayed 75/76 degrees the whole time. Staff were made aware but it didn’t help. Our tv didn’t work. We told staff and they said they knew. We never had anyone clean our room or change out towels- we had to request towels and toilet paper daily and ask them to come get the dirty towels… breakfast wasn’t ok. If we had a cool temperature at night and a working tv the stay wouldn’t have been as bad. We would stay there again if we know ahead of time those things work just because they are a lot cheaper than surrounding hotels. Overall, staff was nice- amenities were just working.

The price for the room was excellent. The check in was a breeze. The staff was accommodating. The room was small but comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that dinner was available and it was delicious. I had never stayed at a Microtel before. I will be back!

I spoke with the manager the next morning. She was lovely and very apologetic.

This is a small issue - but they could work on making it easier for the trash bins to open - many of us struggled to open the small awkward door and it made it difficult to properly dispose of the trash. Overall- I would agree with the other reviews - excellent place to stay when traveling- especially for a one or two night stay.

I was informed that this hotel had only been open 9 months. At least 2 rooms on the floor had no room number outside the door. I had to find the room by trying the key at the door until one opened. When I tried to use the sink in the bathroom, the faucet was so close to the edge that water was splashed all over the sink top instead of running into the sink. These problems are easily corrected to make this room excellent. I didn't use the TV or the air conditioning nor did I eat the breakfast.

Even though there was a sign in the room about complimentary items if you forgot yours I.E. toothpaste Ithey did not have any to give away but to sell only. Could not park my truck and trailer on the property because no turn around or room to park

Easy to access , comfortable beds, staff was friendly, we were not impressed with the breakfast (3/5).

The only issue I noticed was that there was hair left in the shower, which made me question whether it had been cleaned thoroughly. Overall, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and I hope housekeeping can improve because the customer service at the front desk was excellent.

I had a long day of travel for work and realized i would still need to be in the area the next day. I was easily able to book online. The place was nice and my first room was quiet and restful. However upon getting into bed, i realized there were ants in my bed and crawling on me. I reported it to the lady at the front desk. Staff came up quickly with a spray. After pulling the blankets and top sheet back, there was a washcloth found under the fitted sheet. The staff was unable to determine if it was a used washcloth or not. I was moved to a different room. It was not as peaceful, but there were no ants and no random washcloths. The young man who helped me move to my new room apologized and was nice. When I checked out, I was asked if I had a nice stay, all I said was other than having to move rooms because of the ants and random washcloth. The man and woman at the desk said said oh that was you and nodded at each other. Nothing else from them. While it wasnt horrible, I am not sure I would stay again.

The hotel was almost brand new and very clean. The breakfast and location were outstanding . The only thing I did not like about the hotel was it did not have an exercise room,on Expedia it said that the hotel was affiliated with a gym that you could use at a discount rate, when I got there and asked the front desk she said , no they are not affiliated with any gym . Expedia and the hotel , Should not say that on the hotel description if it isn’t true.

We stayed one night on the way to the beach. The room was not overly clean. The floors were quite dirty and got feet dirty when walking in the room. It was fine for 1 night, but we expected it to be cleaner and a little nicer based on pictures/reviews.

It was nice. Workers stood around food area talking too much but place was clean.

The room was a corner rokm by the staircase so there was a small amount of noise, but the room was very clean. The soap smelled amazing! We like to sleep with our room cold, the AC was perfect for us cold sleepers. Breakfast was warm and had several choices to pick from.

Great place. Good and those preparing it was great! Vicki in morning and in pm name started with S , I think. Everyone super nice!
