Extended Stay America Suites - Providence

Horrible experience. Front desk was nice but room and outside ambience is just the worst.

Our stay was just what we needed. They have on-site washers and dryers for cheap $3.75 for both through an app. They have television, stove, microwave and a/c. The rooms were nicer than I expected them to be. It is also close to a Walmart and a thrift store called Savers. Good location honestly. The staff are always working, cleaning and up and down the stairs as well. I loved it! I felt taken care of most definitely.

It needs to be cleaned. I used soap in my bathroom, debris in the tub, cabinets were broken off the hinges, hair in bathroom towels…

This was not a good experience. The smell in both the foyer and the hallways was overwhelming. I hated walking in as smelled so bad. I am not sure what the smell was. Maybe fish? Maybe curry? Not sure, but it was impossible to escape the smell. The first room that we were assigned had blinds that did not work so we were assigned a different room. The second room had a shower without a waterproof shower curtain so the water got all over the floor. There was also not a bathtub drain. The mattress was very uncomfortable and we were only provided three thin pillows for two people. When we asked for a fourth pillow we were told that we were not able to get more than three. Coffee was supposed to be out at 6:00 AM. At 6:45 there was no coffee. When the coffee was put out I was reprimanded by the person who put out the breakfast 50 minues late who told me I was contaminating the coffee stirrers by touching them. They were in a little plastic contraption and you are supposed to turn the handle to get one to come out. Maybe it should have a sign on it so I did not have to go through being told I was contaminating the other coffee stirrers. We were here for three long nights and I could not wait to leave!

Clean room

Room wasn't very up to date. Floor was sticky. Terrible smell throughout the building.

Location was the main purpose of the stay. The hotel is really dirty. It needs more attention, specially in the entrance. We saw the same trash can full of trash for 4 consecutive days. The elevator was dirty with stains all over the stainless steel walls, the rail where the door open and close was full of old dirt with even a cigarette butt. The carpets in the hallways all stained with old black spots. I think that if the department of health sees those hallways and rooms, it would either fine or shut down the hotel. Furniture needs to be replaced. Walls would appreciate some paint.

They had availability whenever I needed a place to stay on my vacation. The TV barely worked right at all.

Roaches in the room. Hotel areas not clean. Many dogs in the hotel and some of them had pit bulls. The presence of dogs should be included in the hotel description for transparency. Also, the complimentary breakfast was really bad.

Everything was great except there was no grab and go breakfast available for me on both mornings. And I was told there was a one hundred dollar deposit.. and I didn't get my deposit returned. Now I have to dispute it with my bank and the hotel. I took one shower.. brought in my own pillows... i didn't use the fridge.I didn't cook.. i didn't smoke in the room.. I didn't have no unwanted guest.. i used it as a place to crash. Why are you guys keeping my hundred bucks?

Bathroom door poorly fixed. $100 security deposit taken upon check in. Will be refunded in 5-7 days. Rip off!

Nothing in kitchen to use , rooms not very clean, lobby and public spaces dirty as well
