Maki Hotel

Great location near center of town in Pucon. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The staff provided really good recommendations of spots to eat and hot springs. Amazing breakfast, all the reviews talked about the bread and it’s true really delicious.

The breakfast was excellent—scrambled eggs served hot, a variety of cheeses, sliced meats, breads, and plenty of fresh fruits. Fresh croissants every morning, along with beautiful tortes. It was really nice to be able to enjoy coffee and tea throughout the day! And, housekeeping daily with fresh towels was a plus! The location was a little noisy because there was some construction going on across the street. The plus is that the location was about 2 blocks from the bus station and from the center of town with its restaurants, shops, and places to book adventure tours.

Lovely hotel. Clean and well maintained. Breakfast was exceptional with a big variety. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Location was great. A little further (2-3 blocks ) from city center but quiet so in my opinion perfect. The center can get very loud. Would 100% return and bring friends !! Nothing.

The staff was unpleasant. We speak Spanish very well, so it wasn't a language issue. The breakfast staff made sour faces when we ordered eggs and when the cut fruit needed refilling. Pucon is a beach and water adventure town, and one day we were asked for 6000 CLP {$6) for the rental of each towel when we returned them -- the person in the morning didn't say anything. And $6 per towel per person per day is ridiculous! We, obviously, didn't agree to pay.

I don't remember ever having a more pleasant hotel experience than the one I had at the Maki Hotel. The folks there were the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met. Excellent breakfast!

We had an awesome stay at Maki - the room was very clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, and the location was brilliant. The stand out for us was the exceptional reception staff who went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. They helped us book tours, provided great recommendations and were very flexible and accommodating. If you are paying at the property, you will need to pay by credit card or cash (debit card incurs a substantial fee), so we had to get out cash (pesos) and then convert it to USD at a local currency exchange kiosk. Was easy enough to do but was unexpected. Would highly recommend Maki! We loved our time in Pucon.

I also liked the stuff, parking, bed, balcony and the breakfast fruits and cakes.

Private parking, location, design, patio, comfy bed. Breakfast is OK, but that is all. I would expect more for the price.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, walked the extra mile to ensure all my requests and needs were met (Arranging for airport transfer, provided information for transport to hike at local National Park). Breakfast was superb (love the eggs and Pucón honey is amazing) Soundproofing could have been better. I could hear all street noise from the room. Bathroom sink & tap design can make it a little tricky to not splash water all over the sink top.
