We loved the space and the view is amazing. The hostess was informative and helpful. The noise from the nearby clubs and highway.

Very clean place in a quiet area close to the center and the local beach with restaurants and bars. The pool was nice and refreshing. The king size bed was very comfortable. You can pay with credit card (4% extra) which is a great plus. The wifi was a little bit unstable for a while but the smart TV worked in the evening.

Overall a nice clean and comfortable hotel. Fairly basic but enhanced with nice colors on the walls. My room had a partial ocean view from the balcony. The location is convenient for restaurants, swimming at Playa Principal and, most importantly, the ADO bus station. Two things really put a damper on my short stay there: I knew I was going to have a friend stop by so I just put his name on the register as a guest when I checked in. He ended up arriving early in the morning when nobody was at the front desk so I was the one to let him in the front gate. When he left soon after the staff hassled him, would not let him out the gate (a button needed to be pushed that he did not see) and basically treated him like a criminal. Luckily I heard the commotion and went downstairs. I quickly buzzed him out. When I confronted the staff they said I had only paid for one guest and visitors were not allowed. I did not remember a one or two guest option but was not sure so I did not argue. It made no sense to me as it was not a breakfast included place. When I checked later I found that (at least on Booking.com) there was not a one guest option for a lower rate. The incident just ruined my morning there. I was glad to pack up and leave early. The other discomfort was I had a couple of chain smokers next door. They would sit on the common balcony and the smoke made its way into my room. I had to keep my door and windows shut and never did get to enjoy the hammock outside my room.

We loved our room "Diamante". Great views and large space. The hotel is close to the beach and town too. And the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Coffee in the room.

The location is amazing: 1. Right by the biggest match box super market in PE (like a local version of Walmart), also the town center, where you can find long distance bus to all other major cities. 2. Walking distance to everywhere, the famous beaches in PE. 3. Near the colectivo spot to La Punta. 4. Right by the large bus stop to Manzute and Zipolite. The little family owned hotel itself is giving you the 2000s vibe, but under good maintenance. There's a popular local church just opposite the street, so expecting some ceremony sounds and music once in a while, (it happened to me once in early morning and early evening, nothing crazy) Nothing I dislike. If have to bring one thing, it would the entrance design, existing guests could only using a tiny door by the slop, while there's another gate.

The property was super clean and the host was very responsive and helpful. Internet didn’t work at first but the manager sent someone to help us right away.

Bathroom was very good, newly remodeled. Bed was very comfortable. View of beach and ocean could not be beat. Lack of reception. Hotel was advised several times when we would be arriving, including at 3PM ON ARRIVAL DAY. They were also told of our Mexican cellphone number. We arrived at airport at 9:45PM as expected, had no luggage to wait for, so immediately took a taxi to hotel only to find the place dark with no one to greet us or let us in. We buzzed several times without response. Thankfully, the cab driver had waited. He called the hotel and told someone that we were there. The intercom came alive, and a rather curt voice asked if we had a reservation. YES! Within 5 minutes, a very young man/teen arrived who spoke no English. There was no paperwork waiting, so we had to fill out registration, and he then showed us to our room. He couldn't explain the wifi (got that from another guest), the hot water was not working. He just could not answer any questions about anything. This is not how it is supposed to work. The next morning, we went out for breakfast, and the 3 people at reception didn't acknowledge us then, or when we returned. The room was too BOHO for us... this was not a kitchenette! Cupboards and shelving were old and dilapidated. Pictures on Booking do not show the room as it was when we arrived. My wife and i travel 120 to 160 days a year, all over the world. This was unforgiveable. We left that very morning for different and much better accommodation. The only contact with us was to be asked via Booking if we were returning that night. I said simply NO! We are not asking for a refund for the other 4 nights Don't care to deal with such people. I hope our rating drops them down a notch.
