Perfect location between both little towns of Puerto Viejo and Cocles. The staff was very friendly and our private room and bathroom was very clean. The hammocks are some of the comfiest we have ever laid on! Bathroom window is broken so bugs can get in.

She gave us all informations and even saw that we were sunburnt and brought Aloe Vera for us :) I like everything about this place :) /

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is free coffee every morning! Great location and relaxing atmosphere. Great value!

Host was very helpful and agile with questions around activities etc, and honored room change at request Location was superb, and tranquil + clean Free water It was quite warm in the room without aircon though there are fans

The location, Gecko on the roof I needed to pay 76$ and everywhere in Costa Rica there is a normalized conversion of USD Dollar to Colonnes 1:500. However the staff insisted to charge 40000. When I raised this weird conversion, he told me it is due to the bank, which is obviously nonsense. Then he checked again and said that the conversion rate is 1:515. In the end I wanted to pay with Dollars of 80$ but never have gotten my change. This is totally a scam. DO NOT GO THERE.

Large and nice room with plenty of storage space and kitchen. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was great! We enjoyed the private patio outside with the hammock. Location was good - close to the city but without the noise of the street. There were a lot of dogs on the property. We were a bit disturbed by noise from the other rooms (very thin walls) and from construction going on nearby.

-friendly stuff -cheap price -the super annoying noises from 7am in the morning, there is no real roof on the room we had so you can hear everything, people talking extremely loud, Screaming, cooking, everything. If you get up early anyway no problem but we arrived late and just wanted to rest -the shower was very weird (I didn't want to use it) the entrance to the toilet/shower (it's in the same room) was in the kitchen

A hostel run by a very friendly family. The hostel is quite far from the bus station, so Cecilia's daughter arranged a (cheap) tuktuk for us. Free coffee in the morning and we were also given pieces of fruit (guanabana). Rooms are okay in size and comfort. Ceiling fan worked well and was sufficiently cooling for us. Price quality more than oké. The water from the shower had a sewer smell, not very pleasant. Our room was adjacent to the neighbors, who made a lot of noise (there are openings on the ceiling, sealed for insects but not soundproofing)

Great family running the place. Really enjoyed talking with Tito as well. The family also gives great advise about different questions. Nice room to enjoy, it was very clean, and is very well kept. Depending on the season it’s a bit hot.

It was really comfortable and the host upgraded us room for free. The bathroom is private and big and there is coffee in the mornings. Everything was great.
