The Hotel Arenas is located in Punta Leona, Central Pacific, a small community committed to environmental protection. The hotel is located in the middle of the dry tropical forest and just 1312 feet from Manta Beach. Offering 135 standard rooms, 16 of which under the 7600 Act and 18 superior. Each room here is air-conditioned and includes cable TV and a seating area. Many rooms overlook the gardens an have a private balcony. Surrounded by tropical gardens you can find two restaurants, a pizzeria, ice cream parlor, swimming pool with snack bar, spa, lounge bar , three meeting rooms for special events with capacities for 500, 250 and 50 people. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including horse riding, fishing and hiking. Juan Santamaria International Airport in San José can be reached in 1.5 hours by car.

I like the pool The A/C could have better power and the door hasnt working as expected my spouse had to wait and take the luggage to the reception and come back to the room

Close to the beach, supermarket, restaurant and main city. Rooms have enough space, the pool is nice and open until late, nice staff! Facilities need minimal maintenance: tiles on the pool, cabinets in the room, bathroom.

Huge pool No access to playa blanca and far fron beach

Nothing We were misled on internet about this hotel. In any event, the place has no room service, no valet parking, no bell service, elevator not working several days, people in CR driving in an out of the long entrance like animals, no lighting in room or bathroom, ripped towels with stains (bath towels and beach towels), no hot water, leaking shower all over the floor, uncomfortable beds and bedding, no access to the beach ("private" which is illegal) and the list can go on.

Good location, near the beach stores and others. Rooms are súper spacious, clean and fully equipped. We had some issues with the shower head, noting terrible.

We were surprised and disappointed that we were not able to go to Playa Blanca. Had this been explained to us better, we would not have stayed at this hotel.

Cleaning, pool, food, customer service was good ! Maybe the elevator seems a be old and risky.

Nice room arrangements for families. Rooms were clean. Woods across the street have numerous macaws. Access road in very bad shape, with huge potholes. Challenging to drive even with 4WD. Balcony doors don’t all lock. Food is mediocre.

The pool was nice and clean, the buffet was good as well, good restaurant There was so much noise around the rooms, drunk people at the pool till late night, couldn't sleep well because of that, cars and alarm sounds next to the room, I wouldn't choose this option again for travelling with family and toddlers. Besides that I got my credit card cloned by the front desk, I got fraudelent charges the very next day of my checkout and this was the only place were I swipped my car, terrible experience

I loved my entire experience. The staff was super nice, helpful and friendly. The facilities were nice and well maintained. i particularly loved the pool area. Its big and clean. It also has a nice bar in the middle of the pool. Room is nice, clean and great - maybe can add bottled water? :) i love the restaurant the food selection is great.. nothing :)

It has no access to the Punta Leona facilities, that should be more clear when booking
