Esplendor by Wyndham Isla Mujeres Boutique All Inclusive

Breakfast was OK no variety, location was OK. We rented golf carts to get around the island. Food was limited and small portions. Ran out of beer at the bars, they only had 3 brands of beer and were always out of 1 or 2. No English speaking channels on the TV. Everything was closed by 11pm.

The breakfast was good, and the staff were always happy to accommodate small requests. I'd love to see options like muesli or oatmeal, along with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, but with a few adjustments the breakfast was exactly what I wanted. The location was excellent, and getting around the island was easy. The beach bar offered a great lunch selection, but mostly fried food. Salad would be highly appreciated. Dinner was the real highlight. We tried almost everything on the menu (seriously!), and every dish was outstanding. The drinks were just as memorable—I already miss the Strawberry Caipiroska and the Passion Fruit Mezcalita. A special thank you to Abdel and Matteo, who took such great care of us every day with food and drinks. My husband loves to eat, so they quickly became his best friends during our stay! Their kindness and attention made our vacation even more enjoyable. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations, and we would happily return. Swimming; but once we found the spot, the crystal-clear water completely changed our experience. The only downside was the water access. The sandbags make it difficult to reach the beautiful swimming area next to the pier. The swimming area next to the pier has amazing, crystal-clear water, but it's not very easy to reach at first. A simple pathway or ladder would make a huge difference. Once we found how to access, we never had an issue again. The water is so beautiful that I had no interest in using the pool; I honestly didn't even dip my feet in the big pool by the beach. Improving access to the sea would make the overall experience even better. Lunch menu needs salads.

The staff is amazing!!!!!! - no spa (they have to give us massages in our room. Don’t get me wrong, we got a couple’s massage in our room.

The facility and food was great. Rm 419 HVAC units in the roof of the restaurant made very noisy. Couldn’t even be in the balcony of the ocean view room :). Staff moved us to 315 which was amazing.

Excellent staff and service

We liked so many things about our stay there! Our family loved the quiet location on Isla Mujeres. The water at the hotel was beautiful and calm making it easy to swim or snorkel there. We thought the food was delicious, and there was a lot of variety to choose from. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Having the two pools and multiple hot tubs was nice. My sons used the fitness center each day as well. The hotel grounds and decor were lovely and well maintained. This was our first stay with an all-inclusive option, and it met all exceptions! We loved that it was small and personalized property. We didn't want the massive resort feel. Overall, we were extremely pleased and would definitely return and recommend it! There was no dividing wall between the section of the room where the beds were and the shower area. That was very strange to have no privacy for showering. We had to take turns being in the room for showers because I have 2 teenage boys, and none of us were comfortable showering in front of everyone. I would suggest fixing that. Also, there was very little water pressure for the shower. Other than those minor issues, our stay was fabulous!

Give your bellboy a raise! He always had a sweet smile each morning, and was making sure we were comfortable and didn’t have questions. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms comfortable. The beach was a slice of heaven to hang out on. The timeframes for food were a bit restrictive. For example, after noon, our chicken nuggets and hamburger were straight outta the school lunch line. And it would’ve been ideal to have more drink and food waiters at the pool and beach.

The location was great, staff was great. Food just ok, but biggest problem was they have 5 hot tubs all cold and we had a cold snap of weather and would loved hot tubs

Excellent staff!

Food service is okay strict check-in / check-out procedures or time, the extra cost will be applied for the late check-out. the check out is at 12:00pm (noon), it is so early, check in is so late until 3:00pm. swim tower can not be provided until 9:00am.

People were nice most employees were really nice, drinks were good, pool was always clean as well as hot tubs, they took their time when cleaning the rooms which was nice and didnt feel rushed, they have a nice gym and the beach location was nice not crowded nothing everything was better than expected

Beautiful property. Very quiet and relaxing. The hot tubs and the beach area need some attention.
