Polyxeni Hotel

Fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast. The food itself was acceptable (just ok). Doors locked and made us feel secure. The room was quiet considering all the noise from the soccer match on TV. We could not change the setting of the A/C lower than 25°/77°. It was warm. Bathroom had 1 place to hang a towel and reminded me of an RV bathroom (small shower with no door so the entire bathroom got wet). WiFi was intermittent and not very strong when used. Parking was at a public lot about 5 minutes away (on foot). Access to drop bags directly in front needed to be done earlier in the day because it becomes a pedestrian only zone. Doors slamming every morning woke us up early. “Garden view” was the side of the building next door plus some fruit trees(see pix).

Breakfast was great. Nice variety! The shower is tiny and the shower wand was awkward.

I write about the property that I like the fact that it was very central location, staff was super friendly, breakfasts were really good, and they were also giving the fresh juice and also coffee, espresso coffee or Greek coffee especially made. And they were really nice to give additional blankets if it was cold and everything was very good. TV did not have any international channels.

Right where all the shops and restaurants are. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Greeted with a glass of orange juice every morning at breakfast.

The hotel is just by the docks, offering easy transportation. It is close to the cafes and shops, and the rooms are nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. No negatives.

Shower curtains doesn't work, everywhere gets wet in the bathroom. No sound isolation you can hear everyone in the corridor.

Staff was very polite and accommodating. Location was prime with many tavernas in close proximity, beach 4 min walking distance.

Great location to catch ferry … very nice staff. Good selection at breakfast and offered to us earlier than usual as we were catching an early ferry. We would have liked to stay several days but were unable to do so because of ferry schedule to our destination.

Great location

The balcony was pleasant. The view from the balcony was nice. The cafe of the hotel was nice for breakfast. Breakfast could be better. Bathroom wetted the whole space when in use. Lighting fixture over the bed was low, uncomfortable for sitting up on the bed.

It was a very good hotel. Location was the best one. Personel were very good and friendly.

Location absolutely, food and staff. There were fly’s and they kept coming even though we killed them. Also, there were two single beds, even though we picked one double bed. Lastly, showe was too small. Room is smaller than it looks.

Very clean, well located hotel. We had a spacious room with a sea view and balcony. Lovely, friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. We enjoyed using the chairs and tables in front of the hotel, available for hotel guests. Small but extremely clean and functional bathroom. Five steps up to the lift.
