The Embassy B&B

Although I stayed there almost 3 months ago, but I still remember how hospitable and genuine , yet caring the house caretaker Ms. Janet was. I truly miss the iconic and scenic views out of my room window each morning. These moments and memories have been made and created in this very special property. I would like to truly thank Jane for everything. I won’t try to forgot both Takako and the others helpers with Jane who attended the house and were more than helpful. Nothing in fact. If only food items were plentiful next time to choose from but then, yes it’s a B&B establishment type and you would expect to cater and help yourself with the food items you choose from outside the premises .

We had a wonderful stay at the Embassy B&B in Queenstown. The location was fantastic with beautiful views, comfortable accommodations, and easy access to town. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfect after long days of exploring the area. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and personal touches that made it feel like home. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Queenstown! N/A

The huge picture window in our bedroom faced the lake; just beautiful! The owner provided many details such as sheet warmers and binoculars to catch the great views from the living room or porch. Breakfast was phenomenal with housemade yogurt, breads and granola as well as fruits and cheeses. And there is an inviting hot tub to enjoy under the stars.

Had an amazing stay in Queenstown last week~ The facility was well-prepared, with delicious handmade cookies and a hearty breakfast provided. A friendly cat added a charming touch to the experience. The host was incredibly helpful, recommending great local spots to explore. Highly recommend for a cozy and welcoming stay!

Great location, comfortable room with a killer view, and the owner was very nice. The owner has a cat who is very friendly, but my wife is very allergic to cats. I don’t think the cat is allowed in the rooms, so my wife was fine in our room, but she couldn’t hang out in any of the inside common areas. Soooo, I would recommend the Embassy B&B, but not if you have a cat allergy.

The sunrise view from the balcony is awesome. You can enjoy your coffee and breakfast while waiting for the sunrise. The room was clean and comfortable. Janet is a lovely host. You require strength to carry your luggage up to the house. Make sure to make it worth your while and stay a couple of days. The views make up for it though.

Exceptional

The host genuinely cares about her guests and puts in the extra effort to ensure your comfort and works incredibly hard.. Breakfast was amazing and included a barrista coffee. House was super clean, very warm inside, secure, and decor charmingly electic. The view is beautiful. The tea tray was a special touch we loved. I'd recommend a rental car or Uber if staying on the hill, walking up would be tricky. I would definately stay again. If we could offer some practical feedback it would be that space is always appreciated. Please consider clearing some of the collectibles - specifically the barber chair & hairdresser basin in the shared bathroom (I hit my ankle on the barber chair footstool). Also consider the food cabinet in the living room to make more room to access the breakfast bar.

It is in a quiet location with a spectacular view of the bay from the balcony and my room window. The room is super clean and comfortable, and the common area is lovely decorated. Nono

Janet was so welcoming and friendly. She provided a delicious breakfast in the morning (including coffee), a warm, clean and welcoming home. The views were stunning and just a short drive from the city centre. Couldn't fault our stay! Bonus there is a cat ? The parking is on the street down the road from the entrance so it's not the most secure.

The owner madam Janet was a very kind and helpful person. We arrived the B&B at the late night with cold weather , she offered to us a cup of coffee to make our body warm. She personally served us morning breakfast though she has a staff. she made good date scone, she knew that I like the scone,when we left the place, she gave us some scones , such kind hospitality is better than staying in the hotel. Madam Janet your kind heart and face is always in my mind. I’m highly recommended to stay in this place, the room is very clean and you have your own bathroom and toilet

Had an enjoyable stay at this B&B just outside of Queenstown. Definitely more convenient for the marina and airport than the town centre of Queenstown. Location is a little tricky if you don’t have a car. Had a nice view of the lake, though that means a hefty walk to get back up to the accommodation. The room was comfortable and clean, though a little odd having the bathroom separate from our room. Breakfast was a good selection of toast (white bread) meat, tomatoes, cheese, hard boiled egg, cereals and freshly brewed hot drinks.

If you want to just slow down, absorb the view, reflect a little, and completely recharge, then this is the place for you!

Location was perfect for us. We explored into Queenstown and up into the mountains. The property was very well maintained and very clean. I liked the breakfasts and they that the best lattes.
