Peggy is the kindest host. The rooms are fabulous and the views are stunning. Not in town, but close enough to enjoy it, and a short walk to a fabulous restaurant.

Peggy welcomed us personally and gave us many great tips on things to do in Queenstown and across the South Island. She is a wonderful host and a fascinating person with many interesting stories from her life, which she shared with us even on the last day well past checkout time. :-) The homemade breakfast in the morning was excellent. We shared the table with the other guests and enjoyed exchanging experiences about New Zealand as well as stories from our home countries.

Able to take us a very late notice / thank you! Felt very much like staying in another persons house. Which is fine. That’s just not my thing.

Nice, large comfortable room in a home overlooking the lake. Room had coffee, tea, water and snacks. The host, Pegs, was awesome-very accommodating, informative and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Very nice stay! I checked in late and the place was cozy, clean and quiet. Easy off-street parking.

Peggy was already making breakfast while we were still deep in conversation — total legend! You can tell right away that she genuinely loves what she does, and that energy made us feel instantly at home. She's warm, welcoming, and just has that magic touch. Honestly, Peggy was the star of our stay — everything else was just icing on the cake (or syrup on the pancakes)! Parking was a bit tight

It was my last day in New Zealand, and since I had an early flight the next day, I had to book this hotel during a busy period. Initially, I was a bit worried about the accommodation, but the hotel staff really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We were traveling with a child, and the original room wasn’t quite suitable. Thankfully, the staff kindly arranged for us to move to a larger room next door, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. That said, the room, while more spacious, had somewhat outdated facilities, and the bedding was quite average in terms of comfort. Additionally, the stairs were a bit inconvenient for carrying large luggage, making it a bit of a hassle to move around. However, I must highlight how wonderful the hostess was. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived until we left. Her warmth and attentiveness truly added a positive touch to our stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay briefly, especially when catching a flight, this hotel is a decent option. The room and the facilities
