The Rees Hotel and Luxury Apartments

Room was wonderful with stunning views and very relaxing. Will stay there again The mattress wasnt the best. Everytime my husband moved the mattress moved

The room was lovely. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable which was a welcome relief after a day of skiing. The heated floors helped to get ski gloves dry before the next day. The ski locker and facilities all worked really well to store our ski gear overnight. Staff were amazing and all very helpful. It was definitely a luxury experience. The shuttle bus only ran once every hour, on the hour, although it was only a 10 minute trip into town. Whilst I planned on using the shuttle to get into the heart of town, we didn't use it at all because we didn't have the time to wait until the one bus per hour, so we caught an Uber which was relatively inexpensive and very quick. If I knew this before booking the accommodation I probably would have booked closer to town. Breakfast didn't start until 7am, so we didn't have the opportunity to try it before needing to get on the Cardrona bus at 7:50am each morning - a hearty breakfast would have been very welcome.

The location was amazing

It was very warm and well insulated. Found so much hair in my room and bathroom(even on fresh towels). when i told staff they didnt seem overly surprised or apologetic. they cleaned my room again but left a rag and it was just overall at a below average cleanliness level and i did find other hairs afterwards too. We were given an accessible room and the water just went everywhere, so we had to use every towel after a shower to keep the floor relatively dry. it was just very poorly designed bathroom. Breakfast was horrible. Overpriced and the fruit had been sitting from the previous day/days? Mislabelled items and stale bread. Some staff were nice and some were rude. Definitely not worth the price point and to be so far out of town.

The view, fireplace, well built apartments and heated floors. Carpets in the room were a little dirty.

Our second time staying at The Rees and it was excellent once again. The location is great with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Beautiful rooms with large bathrooms, very comfortable bed, excellent heating and stunning view. Friendly and helpful staff and complimentary shuttle into town. Nothing. Everything was great.

Along the lake, easy to get to and from. Far enough from road so nice and quiet. Ample parking Was just too far away for a walk to nearby restaurant in the winter, should be fine in the summer months.

Clean, spacious, well resourced Microwave didn’t open and kept having to ask for new dishwashing tablets as kept running out

Beautiful location with stunning views. Loved the shuttle service to and from the hotel, they ran every hour so was convenient. Beds and room were very comfortable. Staff were all friendly and always willing to help. We stayed for 7 nights during winter and rooms were always warm and well insulated. Don’t really have any complaints, had an overall pleasant stay.
