The location was perfection. Check in and Check out were very easy. They cleaned our room and gave us fresh towels and linens every day and loaded us up on water and filled our coffee maker with water every day. The staff were cheerful and it was very clean. We were told there would be breakfast at 8 every day, which is one of the reasons we booked the hotel, but there was no breakfast at all. No coffee other than the two pods they gave us each morning. There was a 'Bite Box' situation that we didn't look into (QR codes on the tables in the empty kitchen,) but in retrospect, I am wondering if that was the breakfast?? I am not sure. I was under the impression based on previous reviews that there would be a continental breakfast option of sorts, which, again, is one of the reasons we booked the hotel. This is a very old building, so, like other reviewers mentioned, there is no natural light in the room. The lighting they have in the room (The Christina) is pretty good, and we never spend much time in our room anyway, so it's not that big of a deal to us. One other thing is- there's kind of an unpleasant smell that I think wafts from the drain in the shower.. It's not horrible, but definitely not the most pleasant. We kept the bathroom door shut while we were sleeping and it didn't bother us. If you are sensitive to those types of things, be aware. The last thing to note is the main door to the hotel is locked at night. There is someone there and you can just pop your head in the open window to ask to be let in, but we didn't know that was the case the first night and we got back around 11 and didn't quite know what to do until someone came to let us in. I think they lock it between 10 and 11pm. Again, all of these things are not that big of a deal, and the location and price couldn't be more perfect, so we were happy with our stay. I just wanted to make sure some of these notes were in my review to make others aware.

Location Pictures when booking seem showing better rooms than they are

Location was perfect. It’s a few meters away from the ”fun chaos” of the historic squares and parks, and serves as a quite spacious getaway. The breakfast is simple and fresh. The large steam room/double shower was a delightful end to a well trekked day. The rooms are concept designed, and beautiful in this restored “hundreds years old” building, but a little more light when needed in the rooms would be better.

Location and very friendly staff. We had change rooms due to mildew like smell. They accommodated our request right way.The coffee was not good. All the rooms are without windows.

Perfect location in the historic centre that was easy to find. The large comfortable beds with nice sheets were great. Large bath with two sinks and excellent shower was a bonus. Breakfast was included which was convenient. Excellent price point for such a cute place.

The breakfast menu is very limited, but we tried all the options since we stayed there for enough days to try every dish at least once, and it was delicious. Also, there's free parking for guests, although it is at a 5-minute walking distance from the hotel, you can be sure that your car is secured 24h. The breakfast only lets you choose between orange juice OR coffee, you can't get both. However, we had complimentary coffee and a Krups coffee maker in our room, so we had to have coffee after breakfast in our room.

Clean, comfortable, great rooms, friendly staff

Had to leave super early so didn’t get to try the breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Very helpful staff, room was clean The suite entrance door wasn't secure. Despite being locked, it could simply been pushed in from the outside. Yes, it happened to me. It was someone's error. The shower took a full 10 minutes to warm; a terrible waste of water. The shower head was plugged and ineffective, requiring the use of hand-held. Some of the hand towels had holes. There were no instructions for operating the HVAC, TV, coffee maker, the shower waiting time. There was an irritating bass boom from the music in their attached food service area, which interrupted sleep. Luckily it ended before 10 PM.

Big rooms, great shower, clean… No fridge, door difficult to close and very noisy…

We were very comfortable. Felt very safe for being our first time there. The room we had also had a an additional bedroom upstairs. It was difficult for our elderly mother.

This is a cute boutique hotel in centro. The bed is very comfortable and the decorations are charming. The staff were very helpful and it was quiet at night. The room is very dark when you turn off the lights as there are no outdoor windows. So use your phone to get up and go to the bathroom.
