Kon Tiki
About Kon Tiki
The Kon Tiki resort welcomes you to an exceptional setting in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, a dream location between a city with timeless charm and a legendary bay of fine sand. Set directly behind the dune of Pampelonne Beach in Ramatuelle, this resort is just 2.5 mi from Saint-Tropez. Our accommodations are inspired by characteristic Polynesian homes called "Tiki Hutte". The Polynesian style huttes are offered in a 1, 2 or 3 bedroomed version each having a living room, kitchen, bathroom and AC's for between 4 and 6 people. The 7 property restaurants feature outdoor terraces. On site you will also find a supermarket, boutiques, hair-dresser, a beautiful outdoor spa... The Gulf of Saint-Tropez is full of outings and destinations to (re)discover, and so is the village of Kon Tiki! You will easily find the right activity for your holiday and your tribe, by day or by night, relaxing or challenging, all on-site! Guests can practice scuba dove on site. Other activities include yoga, pilates during high season, volleyball and mini golf. A kids and teenagers club is available in July and August. Aquagym classes are available at the seasonal outdoor pool. Free private parking is possible on site. Charging stations for electric cars are available at this property. An airport shuttle is available upon request.

The prices within the resort were reasonable, the beach was clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was exceptional. Everything about the resort contributed to a wonderful experience. It is definitely a highly recommended destination for a vacation, whether you are planning to stay for several days or even just a short 1–2 day getaway.

It offers options to everyone, whether you would like to be the whole week with a family and make your own breakfast so you have supermarket or if you would like to have restaurants inside or the location for 5-10 minutes car ride for the best restaurants in the area The check-in is at 4 o’clock and check out is at 11 feels to me too much too much time in between I would say that check out 12 or at 1 o’clock would be reasonable

You can drive all the way to the hut, but we appreciated there is no tarmac, but gravel/sand, so it feels like a pedestrian zone, very safe for children. The Italian restaurant is great, way above resort standards. It also has a very nice and clean area for small children, with lots of activities for them. The supermarket inside has very decent prices and pretty much everything you need. The free beach in front of the resort is perfect. There is no housekeeping (3 night stay). The food at the Oasis bar is not great. But overall a very good experience! The pool area is way below standards (with fake grass carpets), has no shade and is far (past reception towards the main road), we checked it out but didn't spend any time there. Doesn't seem like anyone is using it.

Location and the concept

We were bummed that some of the activities and restaurants were already closed. I know we didn’t come during the busy season, but it would have been nice to have some other options for food/fun.

Tropical, relaxing, full service resort just minutes from downtown St Tropez. Walk the beaches to all the beach clubs!

Everthing is great, the location great, facilities, is like a little comunity. You could find everything you need in one place without go our if you want. And if you want to go out you could do it either because is near all and very well located. Nothing, maybe i would add some modifications like early check in (actually is at 4pm) or some kind of membership where you could enjoy some services without paying because they are already included.

Lots of playing opportunities for my toddler and we love it that there is a supermarket and bakery within the resort. My family will miss the fresh croissant and baguette ? We stayed start of October, so it was quite windy and cold to swim but we had sunshine with 23 degrees- perfect for strolling around and sun bathing.

There is no service whatsoever , it shouldn’t be ranked as 4 stars. No room service , no breakfast (you have to pay for it ), the pool is beyond disappointing , no cleaning service, it shouldn’t be clsssified as a hotel or as 4 stars.

Room was clean with ample space. Very well thought out holiday resort with activities and facilities for every budget. Dining in very expensive but I guess goes with the location. Great assortment of dishes, pots and pans and beach chairs to take to the beach. Lovely holiday destination Prices at the restaurants even take away very expensive
