Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Rancho Cordova

I love Residence Inn, and I look for it every time I travel. This was one of the best locations I've stayed at: Comfortable, clean, spacious room, very kind and helpful staff. Good amenities nearby, including Slice House pizza (do yourself a favor and try it) and many other stores and restaurants. I was traveling for business so it was nice to have a good desk space and comfortable chair. I take good care of my car so parking is always important to me, and the parking lot was spacious and adequate. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was perfect for our needs. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. Only drawback, close to freeway so road noise was something you have to get used to.

At the Marriott Residence Inn, located in Rancho Cordova, CA a good nights sleep will never be a problem! The beds are comfortable and there’s no noise from other guest rooms or hallway chatter. If you like a good breakfast, you will surely find it here along with coffee that’s good enough for anyone! All the staff do their job well so your stay goes well and you get the rest you need, all at the Residence Inn.

The Continental breakfast was better than average. I liked that they provided salsa which worked well with the sausages. There were pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds that went with oat meal.

Will disturb your sleep.

I would have checked out but I prepaid the non refundable booking option for a cheaper rate. The first room on the 1sr floor was so dark and dingy I requested to be moved to the third floor. The room was better but has a musky smell. I had to prop open the windows. Every in the room was crooked…the lamps, the pictures, etc. I felt sorry for the hard working staff. Even before I entered the door in the lobby i noticed there was dry rot on the wood Wow. Just have never seen a Marriott property so bad!!!! I’m a former Director of Sales of the Residence Inn - Anaheim. Yikes!!!

___A comfortable bedroom with a bed you’ll get a great nights sleep on. ___2 Televisions in case you want to watch NFL football and your wife wants to watch a cooking show. ___A nice dining room with a well stocked buffet for breakfast with good quality coffee that will keep you in your chair for hours. Hot food that you actually want to eat and not throw away! ___Plumbing appliances that work how they should, such as sinks and showers. ___Laundry equipment that works and laundry supplies available at the gift shop so you don’t have to drive all over town at the last minute.

Everything was excellent. The only thing is that the reason for my trip was the pool, and it was closed.

Ridiculous that they’re able to overbook and cancel my hotel even though I paid 5 days ahead of time. Says they can’t contact me despite my phone number being filled in from Expedia and they were unwilling to go to to their sister hotel to comp the stay that they were trying to move me to. Terrible experience.
