This place is super cute and kind of retro like going back in time, mid-century, modern decor, very well and thoughtfully maintained and the rooms are well appointed. Family owned and as a solo female traveler, I felt really safe here and comfortable. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious!

We loved our stay at this charming little boutique hotel on the edge of Taos. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, which makes it feel peaceful and relaxing, yet it’s still close enough to enjoy everything Taos has to offer. The property has so much character and charm, and you can tell there’s a lot of thought behind the details. The breakfast was amazing and the homemade blueberry muffins were incredible!

My code did not work to open the door. Tried 3 times then called the number and was told I must have put in the wrong number. He gave me the same code. Didn't work. Told me my fingers were hitting the wrong numbers. Tried a different code he gave me. That set off an auto block to opening the door. Asked if he could come and open the door. Answer was No. Asked if someone could come. No again. No explanation except not available. Offered to give me another room. I looked thru the window and did not like what I saw so said no thank you. I had tried the code to the coffee room and that worked first time. I was given the impression he thought it was my fault that the door didnt work. Nope obviously something wrong with door lock.On the plus side they were quick to refund my money and I ended up in a great hotel for less money right in the center of Taos. Disappointing.

Enjoyed staying here for 1 night. Wonderful courtyard area that was a great place to relax. This is an older property that has been upgraded in a boutique artistic way. I would stay here again.

Beautiful rooms, wonderful small B&B feel with breakfast provided. Will definitely be staying again!

One of the highlights of our stay was the homemade breakfast each morning. Everything was delicious, especially the homemade blueberry muffins. It was such a treat to wake up and enjoy a freshly prepared meal before heading out to explore for the day. Jody and Xochitl were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We also loved the unique touches throughout the property, including the custom playlist created specifically for each room. It was clear that so much thought and care went into every aspect of the guest experience. Every detail was perfect, and our stay exceeded expectations. We highly recommend Desert Flower Hotel and can’t wait to return!

My room was impeccably clean, but the overall decor felt quite dated and is in need of a refresh. The shower head was particularly worn out, and despite the cleanliness, the entire space felt a bit tired. Additionally, the hotel’s location is not an area I would choose to visit again.

The room was so comfortable and clean, and decorated so cute! The contactless check in and customer service was a huge plus too. This was a 10/10 stay!

Vibes Yummy food

The property was amazingly quiet even though it sat right off of the main thoroughfare

Housekeeping did an amazing job!!! Check in and out so easy; and the muffins are to die for. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Even though this property is on the road it was very quiet.

Loved everything about it!

Check in was super easy-I appreciated not having to deal with a physical key card. Property was nice and kept. Common area was ok. The room was clean, furniture and decor had an economical feel. Shower was fine, showerhead could probably use an update, shower curtain didn’t work well and left the floor wet. Overall, experience was fine.

Clean, quiet location. The bath tub was amazing. I’ll be back!

Absolutely one of our favorite places to recommend and stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners are very thoughtful and welcoming, and have created a wonderful boutique hotel. We'll be back anytime we are in the area.

We booked the room for the hot tub and we weren't even able to use it. It wasn't properly maintained and just turned to foam when it was turned on.
