It was good value, considering other options available in Johannesburg. Everything else was just ok or sub par in some situations. The shared kitchen was good as you can cook your own meals and store your goods in the fridge. They offer a laundry service. Not much privacy in the shower area. The toilets could be improved. The bunk beds need a railing for the top bunk (I slept on the top bunk and on the second night was a bit worried I might fall off). Room size is quite small and you can get the smell of the other roomies which can be a bit nasty

The place is very very clean, the one receptionist - I wish I knew her name, but she wears glasses, was very accommodating and kind and professional, there is another lady who cleans here who is very very sweet and professional, she communicates well and is really great at her job There is a lot of noise early in the morning when the staff comes in - There is one lady who cleans, I unfortunately don’t know her name (Xhosa), she is quite judgemental - I travelled here with my 7month alone and she kept asking where the child’s father (inappropriate - especially during the holiday season) and was incredibly critical and rude about everything I did with my child which was very uncomfortable - further more my infants romper (new) was stolen with no answers about a resolution which is incredibly disappointing because if I had damaged or stolen anything from the property I would be held liable - and now if my child soils his clothes I feel I cannot wash and hang those items because no one wants to be accountable - the place is empty it’s mainly staff staying here - if you can’t manage 5 people in such a large establishment how do you manage it when it’s full.
