My room was spacious and clean. Plenty of parking. It was near to restaurants and close to the beach. Would stay there again in the future.

Staff wasn't friendly

Nice motel near the pier. Has an elevator and a pool although we didn’t use the pool. Has a retro vibe. Everything is maintained pretty well. The bed was super comfortable. Plenty of space. Of course it’s located on Pacific Coast Highway so there will be road noise even with a room in the back. Front desk attendant didn’t have much of a personality but she was polite and efficient. Housekeeping staff were friendly and helped us locate the elevator as it wasn’t obvious to us since it looked like an ordinary door. Good amount of parking.

Our room had cockroaches. The door did not lock, stayed open for our duration of stay and check out. There was no staff in the front office. To check me out

This place continues to be our goto when we visit California.

Ice machine was not working. Conditioner and body wash were emptied. Lotion was used and emptied also.

The best place and services
-
Good place to stay, easy walk to the pier and beach! The only thing is the water pressure in the rooms is not the best but still works.
-
Worst hotel the toilet was dirty, the fridge was dirty and not working, the microwave was dirty, the bathroom have ants, the bed have sand worse experience and I ask for 1 extra towels and they charge you 5 dollars per towels.

Clean, safe, affordable, walking distance to a very nice beach and pier, friendly staff
-
Very rude , called us at 3 in the Morning to tell us to turn off the tv , added a9$ fee to my card for what I have no idea, only thing good about this place is that it’s close to the beach . I actually could not believe it could not go back to sleep. Completely out of line. I’ve been going there along time but think it’s time to find a nice spot that actually offers coffee in the morning

Location, the real reason I booked there . Soon as we walked into the room my eyes burn from the smell of the bleached they used to clean. The bathtub was stained and had calcium buildup, opened the microwave and it had burned stains in the entire microwave ( it was completely brown)and in all the hotel unacceptable even for a 6.9 rating that it had. Not even ok for one night.

Very clean and updated hotel. The staff is super helpful. I had to stay here while I was relocating to the South Bay and apartment searching. It’s a great community at an affordable rate. N/a

Hotel has AC and parking included. All about location. Several restaurants nearby, and the pier is a short walk. Room was renovated, but already showing wear, especially the bathroom. Cable and premium channels, but no coffee or coffeepot, so plan accordingly. Wifi was not usable for even reading emails.

Everything was clean and it’s pretty spacious

Front desk staff was rude and very hard to communicate with. He was not helpful or informative at all and I had to go back to the front desk a few times after he gave conflicting information to us. The gal that checked in after us also had a hard time with him and went up and down the stairs multiple times after he kept giving her the wrong room number. There is also a parking fee that is NOT mentioned beforehand and the amount he charged depends on his mood apparently because we were stated 2 different amounts. If we didn't pay it, he said we could park on the main street. The rooms and decor are very old and smelly and could use an upgrade. The area itself is OK, and just a short drive to multiple seafood restaurants and shopping by the beach. The parking lot is sketchy but if you just need a place to sleep and shower then it's doable. Best thing about this hotel, it has an elevator!

Not too much parking. Small lots for parking.
