HAD AN EVENING MEAL, PORTION SIZE VERY GOOD & QUALITY OF FOOD EXCELLANT. BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING WAS VERY NICE & PLENTIFUL.

Nothing really other than it was walking distance from where I wanted to stay The amenities were below basic: no toiletries at all, no blankets or heaters in the rooms. Reception was closed when I arrived at 4pm so I had to go find my key The restaurant manager was rude The breakfast was a basic help-yourself buffet

Nice bar area. Decent breakfast. Spacious car park. Very nice people working there. Central location inbetween most iconic parts of Cornwall makes it a perfect base if you want to see them all during one visit. There was a bad smell in the room - almost unbearable at the end of our 4 night stay. Stains on the ceiling like if there was some leak? We had a room service every day topping up tea, sugars etc but our used dirty towels were not replaced and I had to chase housekeepers to give us the clean ones. Windows of our ground floor room faced the car park so our choice was aither to resign from our privacy or suffer this bad smell of the room with curtains closed. We reaaly liked the staff so Im adding this negative review with a heavy heart. Please do something with this smell

The hotel was ok. The cleaning lady who worked on Sunday she was amazing. We did not asked for anything but when we came back in the evening we found she changed everything in the room but the Second Lady on Monday morning on our way out she asked if we need a top up and we said yes and including bedding changed. She only change the toilets and never change the bed or clean out toilet. How we left it that’s the way we found it even though we told her outside the door that we need everything refreshing as it was our second night and we had to stay for 3 nights. I wasn’t keen with her services unfortunate We booked for 3 nights with breakfast included. If we had known that the breakfast was limited to just a one-hour slot, we would not have booked this hotel. Breakfast is only available from 08:00 to 09:00, and because of the short time frame, we missed all three breakfasts that we had already paid for. I hope the hotel management to look into this matter at least from 7am-10am is a reasonable time

Nice flat access for my mum being in a wheelchair and very well catered for disabled guests. The breakfast - the cooked full English breakfast inclusive of the stay isn’t much, you only get one of each item and are expected to pay extra if want more than one item, which I do get but really standard should be at least two sausages and two fried eggs. The breakfast was like warm when arrived at table too - I know they were busy and sorting out tripped switches but this was a real let down this morning . Plus it’s confusing for breakfast times, we were told 9am till 10am but the bar board says till 11.30am, but yet they were packing away cereals at like 10.30am anyway, so which is the right finish time? They seemed in more of a rush to tidy my plates from the table than they were for serving us in the first place! The hotel stay was great but the breakfast service this morning was a let down to be honest!

The pub was lovely, although was not happy with were I was sat for my meal The hotel is dated and needs an overhall, only 2 sockets, none by the bed, and the chairs weren't high enough to the desk to work comfortably. Also, I got there before 4, but reception was closed, Also the lights above the bed didn't work.

breakfast was good but better on first morning. room had everything needed and very roomy with a lovely garden view hotel needs a bit of a revamp. mould in walls of bathroom and near window in room

Nice grounds, easy parking. Needs a full refurbishment. Some areas such as wet room needed deep clean as grouting very dirty. Water poured over floor when showering potentially dangerous . Lack of communication as had to collect keys from one building, breakfast also in pub whereas guest rooms in a separate building .

Room was a good size Very clean with comfy bed. Great shower . Plenty of tea coffee & milk to make hot drinks. Great tv plenty of channels. Breakfast included so made it good value for money. Nothing !

Breakfast good, plenty of choice. Waitress lost tra k of tables she had already taken orders from and missed us completely, people who came in later were served before us and we had to ask her tp take our order. Replenishment of empty jugs also slow as seemed that this one waitress had to do that as well. It was a very busy morning in the restaurant so needed more than one overseeing the service.
