Econo Lodge new Reno - Sparks Convention Center

Ghetto is how I would describe this property.

There was blood on the wall it was so bad. And in the bed it was everywhere

First off the young guy who checked us in was very rude. Then when we where walking through the hallway to our room there was a dead roach in the hallway. The beds are very firm and we didn't sleep well at all. The bathtub has pink slime fungus growing on it. They really need to focus on better cleaning. We most definitely will not be back.

Very grungy and cigarette butts on the patio. Hardware was broken off, ceiling panel hanging. This was a very disgusting "drug haven" appearing room. Definitely the worst room I've been in since more than 20 years ago (in the US). There was a convention in town, every hotel booked and this was one of the last available rooms in the city of Reno. I was getting my hotel room reimbursed or I would have not spent the money and would have opted to sleep in my car instead. Really that bad. Staff were nice and helpful. No issues with staff. This is a skid-row level property. Avoid.

The hallways to the room were filthy - bits of paper and cigarette wrappers and just plain dirt all over the floor. Although it is supposed to be no smoking, the smell of cigarette smoke was throughout the building. The grounds weee littered with cigarette butts and trash. The door to the building slammed so loudly it woke me every time someone came or left, and there were a lot of comings and goings around 2:00 am for some reason. Would never ever stay here again

Pool was closed during my stay. Mind you it was 100+ degrees every day. No microwave, coffee maker only had DECAF coffee. Smh. Nasty stains on the chair and when I touched the wall, there was a greasy residue left on my fingers! Smh 1 star hotel for not so clean people. Oh, the housekeeper NEVER came to grab our trash, so the hallway was full of trash from the everyone’s room.

Stayed on upper floor with interior hallways and a nice quiet view, except for a growling AC. Otherwise, a somewhat unusual shower with a two-inch rim that allowed considerable water to overflow onto the floor. Nightly charge was commensurate with average quality.

This is the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, by far. Upon entering the room it was easy to see the place isn’t kept up or cleaned very well at all. Dirty handprints on the walls everywhere, dirt all over the floor, the water pressure in the shower was worse than a pinched off garden hose, there was a hole in the subfloor beneath the linoleum that felt like we were going to fall through into the room below us, and dry blood on the curtains and door handle to the balcony. Absolutely disgusting. For the price we paid, you’d think they would at least fix the issues with the place. There were vagrants sleeping in the walkways, the whole place looked like it was about to fall down, honestly. Needless to say, I will never be staying here again. Do yourselves a favor and pay a little more for the hotel 6, or anywhere really. When speaking with the locals it became very evident that we had found the sleeziest hotel in Reno. I’d give zero stars if I could. I’d actually like a refund, but I’m sure that won’t be happening. So yeah, don’t even bother.

Air condition was really bad

Other joys were a freezer section of room fridge caked with ice so unusable/no space, a half full bottle of body wash mini-sample, a security eye lens in door all scratched up or damaged so you could not see out. I Left ASAP the next morning and found something else.

Nice not bad pretty chill nice location

We needed a lower level unit because my husband is disabled and uses an automatic wheelchair and the option was still being cleaned and we didn’t get to go in our room until 6 pm. The furniture was old with some weird dirt spots on it. And the bed spread had stains on it. The curtains were old and had little holes in them.

walked in the room and walked straight back out. it had cigarette burns in the comforter, black residue on all surfaces and reeked of smoke. haven’t gotten a refund yet when they said they would. awful awful.

My first visit was decent. Came the next week booked one night. 29-39. And I checked in as a single female! Came back did not have my room key had my friend go into the office he was not authorized on the room! They gave him my room key without any ID or anything! Got to the room it was dirty round water came out of the faucet we called the office from our cell phones because the phone in the room was disconnected all over the floor and walls! Yes we asked for an early check-in but the room had mold in the bathroom shower we went to the office they said they could not do anything with us we had to wait till the morning and talk to the management!. Took the towels to the office because the bathtub did not have a stopper and it looked like brown poop all over the the bathtub when I took out the washcloth! Did not call me for my room to not do anything gentleman came knocked on my door at 10:45 a.m. and said checked out went to the office he said no he didn't and he was yelling at us! Do not ever recommend this and will tell lots of other people that work in the convention business at Reno not to stay there!

unclean, ciggerett burns on every counter, missing peep hole on the door, as in its just a drilled hole, window curtans had holes all over. There were random knocks on the door at midnight.

The Personal were amazing Nothing

The staff Everything except the staff. Floors, counter tops, furniture all filthy! TV remote didn't work, towels had stains, top lock on inside door was broken.

When you first walk in the pictures are nothing like they are online staff is unfriendly and judgmental after we finally checked in we went to our room walked into the room. It smelt of cigarettes. There were stains on the walls on the blankets. There is a cigarette burn on the comforter, you turn the air on and the cigarette smell gets 10 times worse and I am not a person that complains. I’ll sleep on the side of the road in my car and use the bathroom in nature if I have to, but that was disgusting. and you wanted to charge me $155 for the room with $100 deposit for what they rent that motel out hourly

There was a lot of activity around the hotel at all times of day and night, mostly cars circling the parking lot and people outside smoking until 2 or 3 am. The hotel also had no towels, and generally felt understaffed and rundown.
