Clarion Inn Renton - Seattle

The property attracts sketchy individuals, and there seemed to be a police presence almost every night. Fire alarms were going off repeatedly, making it difficult to feel safe or get any rest. The room itself was absolutely disgusting. The mattress was heavily stained with a yellow discoloration that made me question whether it had ever been replaced. Paint was peeling off inside the bathtub, the curtains were filthy, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. To make matters worse, there was food and other items left behind in the refrigerator from a previous guest. There were signs of water damage throughout the room, and the lampshades had unidentified sticky liquids and stains on them. Overall, the property appeared poorly maintained, unsanitary, and unsafe. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and staying elsewhere.

It was a good stay for just myself but I wouldn’t come if I was staying with my wife. In good area but the property building needs a bit of updating and deeper cleaning in the rooms. Staff is good and nice

Hotel very run down. Did not look like pictures. Paint peeling. Water barely got hot enough to take a shower and was very difficult to operate. The carpet was old and worn. Beds we comfortable and sheets were clean. Breakfast ok with limited options.

This hotel was comically awful. The shower head was black taped on & missing half of it. The vent in the bathroom had no cover on it. The beds were horrible as the bases must’ve been broken. When you moved the beds squeaked. We had to shove the door open when trying to get into the room. The staff individual that checked us in was the only highlight of the entire property. This should’ve been about a $5 night stay. The absolute worst hotel we’ve ever stayed.

Breakfast and parking

Basic not bad. Needs maintenance and upgrades. They are working on maintenance.

I've stayed here twice not because I wanted to. The whole property has a "funk" smell. The elevator does not instill confidence when you step in. The breakfast is adequate.

The bathtub had portions of the covering stripped down to a primer level and was leaking. The furnishings were not typical of a Clarion hotel. We chose to leave without spending the night and drive to find another hotel.

The property was disgusting. Rooms were infested with bugs, so we went to another hotel and did not stay. Pictures online are grossly misleading. Do not stay here.

Poor

Ok, room is nice, lobby is not nice, and is in a run-down part of town. The breakfast is better than normal.

No breakfast, booked a king bed, got a queen. Appears to be more of a place for permanent residents rather than a hotel

The room smells musty and old. Poor vacuuming. Only one hand towel and no wash towels were available in the room. The staff said they ran out of towels while the hotel was not fully occupied. No water or juice at breakfast for several days,

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. A bit outdated but good price and location.

The room was clean. The person at the reception was very friendly and supported us at all times. More fruit was needed at lunch. Some of the sausages were overcooked and hard, others looked raw
