The staff were not friendly at all, the rooms smelled of mildew, the tub wouldn’t drain and when I told the front desk guy he looked at me like I was stupid and offered me nothing!! All he said was it was remodeled several years but because a country Inn and suites owned it. So I’m like well okay and…. That does nothing for what is going on now with my issues. Just poor service and management for the price I paid!!

I had done absolutely nothing other than arrive, smile, and check into my room, yet I was singled out and given this speech while at least seven other guests checked in without being addressed in the same manner. Jesse claimed this had been a “hotel policy for 3 years,” which I know is false. My brother recently stayed at this same hotel during his wedding weekend, where multiple rooms were used by bridal party members and guests without issue. When I later spoke with management, I was told this was supposedly a newer policy change. However, when I requested the policy in writing, I was informed that it was not written anywhere and was simply an internal practice specific to that location. The entire interaction felt unprofessional, targeted, and based on assumptions and stereotypes rather than any actions on my part. I also have video footage of Jesse making these statements.
