Hotel Columbia Frontemare

Breakfast was great and served until 9am. The view on the beach was great and the room was spacious enough for 4 people. Bathroom especially comfortable and greatly sized. Staff was also great at cleaning and respected our belongings. Elevator wasn't working and we stayed at the 4th floor.

Beach front The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. We had to leave at 6:00 in the morning, but there was only a night watchman at the reception!! The night before we asked if the hotel could prepare a breakfast pack for us for the next day, but we were refused (breakfast was included in the hotel price, but was only available starting from 7:00 in the morning). The hotel does not have its own parking. The car can only be parked for a separate fee in a public unguarded parking lot located 500 meters from the hotel (a 10-minute walk). Construction work is taking place at the hotels on both adjacent plots.

Hotel location is good. Hotel staffs were amazing. Hot water barely available. Need to turn on the tap and wait a long time till the hot water came in. Room temperature very difficult to get the right one. so it was very cold and not comfortable.

Very good and helpful staff. From the reception staff to the lady in the dining room, who offers try something sweet. Very nice. The hotel has retained the design elements of its opening, it would be nice if it could be renovated in a similar concept

the location is perfect, the staff is wonderful, real Italian breakfast, the rooms were cleaned every day, the air conditioner was working. some of the furniture in the room may need to be replaced.

Very good

Staff is good and location is perfect, nice breakfast. Old building, for the price I was expecting something nicer. Small room and poor services (A/C is loud, bathroom not comfortable, small and uncomfortable bed). The cleaning level was not perfect (some dust here and there, bad smell and sink not properly cleaned after the previous user). Also, if the balcony is completely covered by a scaffolding, it should be communicated at least at the moment of booking.

The property has the best location in the town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sea view room has the best sunrise view. Maybe the can do better about mattress. The chairs and table on the balcony were very old.

Hotel is by the beach and in great location with access to lots of good restaurants and right on a main road. The bed was very comfortable and the cleanliness was very good. It was particularly cheap to book. Air con didn't work. We mentioned at reception and they said someone would go up to check, but it never got fixed. The furniture was dated and some of it coming apart. The staff wouldn't allow us to bring friends into the hotel, and they were incredibly rude about it. Every Hotel I stayed in it was always fine to bring anyone around without questioning, but apparently not this Hotel! They will refuse entry to the rooms from anyone who's not checked in. Very disappointing.

Location and staff The hotel is really old, the ac was old and not working properly, no one said that the hotel is under construction so when you take a look out of the window that’s your view: construction site. The bed sheets weren’t changed even once for our 6 days stay. It is not worth it for the value of money that needs to be paid. At night you can hear all noise from the street, it is like you are sleeping on the street and all people coming into their rooms. However, staff is friendly.

Very nice staff, amazing breakfast, good price, close to the beach and the city The “double bed” were two single beds pushed together, sadly couldn’t get very good sleep because of that. The air conditioning is pretty noisy, but you do get used to it.

Exceptional

Very helpful staff. Deliciuos food and coffee, you can ask for a refill of the desired food. Good location of the hotel, room with a view of the sea. The air conditioner does not work on the top floor. There are too few rosottes in the room. Some furniture is not securely fastened. Ran out of shower gel during the stay.
