Personnel and service, breakfast, location, price No hooks in the room (outside wardrobe) for hanging wet jackets, etc. - not very practical

This was our second time staying at Hotel Polo. The staff is friendly and always smiling and welcoming - including here the cleaning crew and the ladies working the breakfast area, not only the reception staff. The breakfast is good, varied, with a loooot of dessert options :) (they change every day). The best part about the breakfast is that it lasts until 12 PM, which allows you to go to the beach in the morning, when the UV is moderate. The room is clean and big enough. The hotel is located close to the beach and around many restaurants. They have a partnership with beach no 20, which has all the facilities you would need. Even though the breakfast lasts until 12, there were days when they would stop refilling food before 11. Also, at around 10.30, they close a big part of the breakfast area, leaving only 4 tables available. 99% of the times it was fine, but we did experience not having where to seat, as all 4 tables were occupied by other guests.

Great customer service, there was an issue with my room that was out of their control when I checked in so they upgraded me to another room that was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure my accommodations were great! The weather was a little overcast, but they could not fix that. :)

The staff were friendly and the location was perfect! The room had an Awful smell , ( combination of the smell from the previous guest + the cleaning detergent used + not opening the windows after cleaning and locking it right after) it was very bad! And unfair for me .

Location was good and staff were friendly. Bed was large and comfortable. King size room was large with extra day bed. Half of lights didn’t work ( bedside lamp and also half lights over the bed) plus the system is confusing. Breakfast was average. Room rate was quite expensive for the quality.

Location close to beach and bus stop to station. Wonderful breakfast with different cakes and croissants and more unusual savoury options , all very tasty and nicely presented. Very helpful staff. Furniture in the room practical, but a bit dated.

The hotel is very well located, with lots of restaurants nearby and close to the beach. They work with beach 20, which has a lot of activities and is well organized. The staff is friendly. The room is very clean and the housekeeping does a great job with every day cleaning. The bathroom is big and it has a window, which helps a lot with the humidity. The breakfast is good with lots of delicious dessert choices. The furniture could use an upgrade. For the meat lovers, the salami selection could be wider at breakfast.

Great location. Professional and helpful staff. Tiny, outdated room. Dated decor, dark, very small, uncomfortable bed, smelly lift and lobby carpet. Very poor access to ground floor (scary steps up, unsuitable for partially sighted person)

Breakfast was amazing Shower did not work properly, the lift was too slow, almost impossible to use. Parking is not free.

It was clean and the employees very kind and helpfull. Phonic isolation.

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant. It was conveniently located, and the room was comfortable. We also enjoyed the diverse and delicious breakfast options.

The gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful in organising a parking space behind the hotel for our 2 cars, so we didn't have to look for a parking space on the street (which was twice the price of the hotel parking). The room was spacious with a large roof terrace. I can highly recommend this hotel.
