Hotel Derby

Stuff is helpful, polite, professional and cheerful, always on service. Location is convenient all amenities are near hotel, shops, station, beach, walkway... Cleanness of hotel, rooms and premises is on highest level. Hotel kitchen is very good, chef making excellent food, we enjoy it, selection of vines and drinks is very good. Hotel is ready for renovation, furniture in room is old but good, wardrobe can be bigger. TV have only local channels; there is no international programs Internet is OK, but can be faster, it was obvious that when more people arrived it slow down

Location is good - lot of parking around the building (Sunday evening, January). The staff is nice. The furniture in our room was from 90's. Double bed was realy uncomfortable, strange smell in the room (that should be nice fragrance??!!) was disturbing, non-soundproof door (the one can see a light from the hall into the room), rusty radiator in a toilet, breakfast area and food very basic - not a 4 star hotel for sure... If the owners invest as little as 3-5% of their annual profit into the hotel renovation, they would have a great hotel on perfect location....

The location of the hotel is wonderful - in the center of marina, right in front of the beach, very accessible both with the car and public transport. A lot of restaurants and shops around. Rooms are neat and air conditioned. The staff is outstanding - friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious ?

Wanted there. Customer service was exeptional The swimming pool was too smal...maybe ok for 4 or 5 kids

The staff were really friendly, the hotel was very clean, the food was nice If you book the all inclusive through booking they charge you for umbrella and sun-bed. The guest who booked directly had these included without extra charge. The drinks between breakfast, lunch and dinner where not included and they asked us to pay for it. After we complained about it as we booked all-inclusive, they told us we can have soft drinks for free but we should always ask for it. On the first day there were 2 small bottles of spring water in the fridge. They never filled fridge with water thereafter. Disappointed. Don’t buy all inclusive!

Close to the beach. Restaurant and shopping possibilities close by. The shower sliding doors fell apart. Called the reception it was fixed. After a few days the second sliding door fell apart. Did not call the reception, gave up. The Bide water stopper did not work called the reception, the maintenance person came and fixed but still it did not work. The carpets, the doors etc. were worn out. Parking cost 18 euros a day but no car shades. Beach lounge costs 18 euros a day but you have to pay extra if one wants to be in the front rows. Is this a 4 star hotel ?? I precisely was looking or a 4 star hotel but was very disappointed.

Fantastic location by the sea side, helpful staff, good size rooms

The stay matched all expectations and even more. The room looks exactly like on picture and is cleaned every day. The hotel is very safe, I was afraid to leave room key at reception desk but no one took it. The helpful staff both as at reception who can clarify everything you need to and in the restaurant who can bring whatever you ask to and always with smile?. The menu of local quesine tastes also great and is good balanced. (PS. Chef, tried pizza and pasta in Milan and it is nothing to write home about comparing with yours?) I had some problems with wifi at the restaurant (maybe problem is with my phone).

Good location, private parking, very kind staff Wifi was extremely slow, the breakfast was very limited. You can enter for dinner between 19:30 and 20:00 pm only. The nonalcoholic drinks were not included in the dinner, for example, water, which has to be free. I ordered a taxi at the reception, a private taxi arrived and the fee was 20 EUR / 3 km. It should be aprx. 10 EUR according to Rimi's taxi site.

Hotel in a great location, next to the beach and close to public transport. There are many restaurants around the hotel. Very good meals, Beautiful view from the restaurant. Exceptionally friendly hotel staff. Probably the best bartender in Rimini :)
