Hotel Rex

Great location near the beach, bars, and restaurants, yet still quiet. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was well worth it. Both the reception and breakfast staff were supportive and friendly throughout my stay.

It had a parking space ready for you when requested (w/payment), but we got lucky to park just in front of the hotel for free. The hotel is accessible to the places or highlights you want to see. They have bicycle you can use also for free. The breakfast was good a lot of sweet stuff, and its until 11am. The bed was comfy. First off upon checkin, they should inform the guests that the AIRCON is connected to the balcony door and it has a SENSOR on it. So when it is not properly closed, the aircon does not function. We were suffering and sweating for one night without any aircon because we didn’t know this. Second if anyone wants too book the beach, just book per day, you wont get your money back, even with bad weather. Not much bread choices at the breakfast.

breakfast – exceptional, probably would come back for the breakfast alone. A bidet in the bathroom was quite a good addition too. the room and the bathroom were extremely small. We were ok but if you are a plus sized person, consider upgrading to a bigger room. also the AC was way too big for the room and wouldn't regulate making the room quite cold at times

The hotel is very neat, the staffs are friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom is clean and looks new. The structure is very close to the beach and basically in the main street, where you get supermarket, restaurants and just 10 minutes by M-train to the central station which is great! Breakfast is good, (wont say amazing but really nice) and if you are lucky, you get good views. I liked it. The beach infront is really nice. If you are going to SAN MARINO, Bus stop is 15MINS walk from the hotel (You can check my san marino video by searching Evalastindayo San Marino on youtube) The swimming pool is in their partnered hotel which is right across this hotel, but swimming pool is closed by 6pm! shocking. The hotel is partnered with the beach so bed and umbrella is 8 euros per person. Also, towel for beach is paid for (euros).. ion like that lol. Would prefer a cappuccino/coffee machine instead of asking them to make me one everytime at breakfast, and probably fresh juice.

Breakfast so good but you are not aloud to take a coffee outside for a smoke . An employee shouted at me that I’m not allowed even though I promise that I will bring the cup back. Arriving at the facility I discovered that they don’t have a parking place , just 2 places places in the hotel yard and you if you want, you can book prior of your staying , that was nothing in the description on booking. My sheets were nothing comfortable, and when I checked, it was sand in the bed. The sand is so fine at Remini beach and I said I could understand that but they didn’t believe accusing me that maybe I brought the sand from the beach by myself. And when I asked for a new sheet they said they don’t have any to spare . I shook out the sheets myself and fell asleep on my personal towels. The bed cover had a yellow urine stain. The rooms are so small and in the bathroom you can heart yourself when you are bathing. I rented 1 apartment for my family and one room for my friends, one of the rooms should have a side sea view but none of the rooms hat any sea view , I wanted to speak with the owner about my booking and I was promised from the reception I will but he didn’t spoke to us . If you do want a stay at Rex Hotel call before and make sure you have a sea view, a parking place , another thing that deserves to be mentioned is that they are not a beach front hotel .

- Good quality and variety Breakfast - Great coffee - Towels for the beach can be rented for only 3 EUR per person for the whole stay; - Perfect location if you plan to go often to the beach - Good internet speed - Soft and Hard pillow available in the room - Generous size balcony - Room is quite small, and Fornitures is quite outdated to be considered a Delux room; - Difficult to have good air conditioning due to the thermostat not really matching the temperature displayed ( set at 27 is too cold, set at 28 is too hot) - Poor room soundproofing.

Rimini is a seaside location, so we could say the hotels here have a nice location. The street where the hotel is located is a dead-end, and it says there is parking nearby, etc., but this is completely wrong—there is no parking around, and definitely they do not help you with this. We had to park our car in a very bad spot. We checked in late at night, and there was a friendly Italian gentleman, but since he didn’t speak any English, we couldn’t get any answers to our requests or questions. He confiscated our passports, and although we protested, he said we wouldn’t be allowed into the hotel otherwise. There was no credit card option, so we had to pay cash at that late hour to avoid dealing with the reservation process further. The rooms and bathroom were so small that I had to jump over my sleeping spouse to go to the toilet. We had to put our suitcases under the bed, that's how cramped it was. The toilet and bathroom were extremely tiny, with no space to even breathe.We didn’t have breakfast in the morning, but from 10 AM onwards, they kept calling us on the phone and knocking on our doors multiple times, saying the checkout time was 10:30! We definitely do not recommend this place!!! Everything!!!
