Its is near attractions like Escadaria Selaron and a lot of restaurants nearby. The breakfast is awesome. Worth it for a budget stay. ?? I was staying in the 5th floor and the elevator isn’t working properly. I hope they can do something about it.

The breakfast is incredible. Many options. Everything delicious. In the center of the city. Nice staff. I was a little bit afraid about the location, but I walked around and didn’t have any problems. There are not McDonald’s or Burguer King close, but you can ordem it on iFood and it is really fast.

nothing I booked with this Hotel and had a very disappointing experience. That night, we arrived at the hotel very late. I was feeling unwell with a fever and was extremely tired, so I was hoping we could check in quickly and rest as soon as possible. However, after we arrived, one staff member asked us to complete the check-in and payment process, but shortly afterward another person, who seemed to be the manager, told us that our rooms had serious water leakage problems and were unavailable. They wanted to transfer us to another hotel instead. We had booked three rooms, so I found it very strange that all three rooms supposedly had the same leakage issue. My husband asked if we could at least see the rooms ourselves, but they refused. They insisted on moving us to a different hotel. The people traveling with us checked the alternative hotel and felt it was in a much worse location and of lower quality, so they refused. The hotel staff then tried to move us to yet another hotel. By that time it was already very late at night, and because I was sick and exhausted, we had little choice but to accept. Unfortunately, the replacement hotel also had a poor location and worse conditions. Because of the language barrier and being unfamiliar with the area, we had no option but to stay there. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with this booking experience and with the service provided by this hotel.

Great hotel in Lapa near everything. Great breakfast, the wifi worked great, and the shower was the strongest and best that I have ever had in Brazil. Room was clean. I would have liked to stay longer, but they were out of space for the remaining days of my holiday, so I had to change hotels. I had a room with a window on the street in Lapa and it was not loud at all. Great place and I will visit them again the next time that I am in Rio, which is often. BTW, the neighbourhood is just fine. Absolutely no one is going to bother you at all. Even if someone tries to get your attention, just do not give them any. No one will bother you, so any reviews about the area are overblown. Nothing! I do not understand why anyone would leave a negative review because for this price point, this is a great place to stay and the breakfast was tasty. Ignore any negative reviews that you see. Those people who left negative reviews should just stay home and not travel.

Good breakfast. Good service. The location. Lobby is small. They were doing construction, so it was a bit messy.

This hotel is great, I honestly wish I knew about it sooner. It is not at all luxury, but it has everything a single person would need - even a couple would like this, although the space would be tight in the room. I was in room 504, the smell of bleach was incredibly strong and instead of complaining, I took that a plus that it was clean. The shower was amazing! The water was hot and the pressure was great. I didn't really sleep on the bed, as my stay was short, but I didn't like that the sheets were old and torn (see pic). But the location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the famous Selarón Steps and other nice restaurants and vendors. Also, I really like that they allowed me to book last minute and check in early, which was very quick. There are stairs and a working elevator. Breakfast is served daily in the morning for free, but I didn't get breakfast. Also, while locals may tell you exercise caution, especially late at night, I felt relatively safe as a solo traveler. I would definitely stay here again! The sheets were visibly old and torn (see pic).

The service

While staying in room 308 I was bitten by bedbugs over 80 to 100 times over the course of 3 nights I stayed there. I knew I was experiencing itching on day 2, but on day 3, the red marks started to show with extreme itching. The property was perfect location for my needs and the staff was excellent and accommodating as long as u had google translate for Portuguese. Breakfast was with a variety of food and very good. Friendly staff, big and clean room. Close to metro station and supermarkets. Nice quartier. Good buffet breakfast . Optimal position to visit everything. Some noise from the street and on the corridor during the night but it was during the carnival period.

Excellent breakfast! It feels a bit dark in the hallways!
