Hotel Astoria Palace

There is only one thing I like about the hotel, its location. The staff, especially at the check-in desk, seemed a bit inattentive, and sadly, we lost some valuable items like sunglasses and clothing, which we only realized when unpacking at home. We sent them a message but never received any response. The room was quite small and didn't quite meet the standards of a four-star hotel. It also didn't feel very clean. We wouldn't recommend staying there and probably won't choose it again if we visit Rio in the future.

I was escorted to the room I went to use the bathroom the toilet mad noise after you flushed it the towels was dingy with stains on it the room has no window. I went to ask if I could get a refund and told them why the attempted to fix it. But the end result was me leaving. I didn’t feel comfortable staying there. I didn’t like anything.

A hospedagem foi desastrosa, ainda mais para um hotel 4 estrelas. Como pior detalhe menciono o barulho do elevador, que produz pancadas fortes durante o funcionamento e que se ouvem distintamente dentro dos quartos, prejudicando enormemente o descanso. Piscina suja e café da manhã sem padrão, em um dos dias estava bastante razoável e, em outro, bastante medíocre, com ovos duros e secos. No geral, hotel velho e com manutenção e limpeza deficientes. O primeiro quarto que nos foi dado foi necessário devolver devido ao acúmulo de sujeira no ar acondicionado, quase entupido de tanto pó. Mofo no quarto também causou alergia.

The location is great Before the reservation I asked about early check-ins since I was arriving at 6 am and the check-in was at noon. They told it should be a problem, I was supposed to ask at the reception. When I arrived the guy didn’t even pretend to check, just said no but I heard him say the same thing to another client on the phone (that of course it should be a problem) for en early check-in. As an international tourist getting to Rio after a long and night flight I was destroyed and wanting to take a shower. I was offered to store the luggage and come back at 2 pm. When I could check-in the rocie was way different from the one here at Booking

The property is conveniently located The property is old, dirty, disgusting. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and all the facilities were broken and closed. The breakfast was subpar. The staff was mediocre. Would not recommend and will never stay again.

Location was nice. Breakfast was good. Mold on the curtains and in the bathrooms. Furniture was outdated and worn. Workout facility was too small.

Every thing

Free breakfast, clean property, comfy room. Staff was as responsive as they could be most of the time. Sometimes the front desk felt understaffed. Our room was on the second floor, so our view was not that nice and we had paid for a view so that was disappointing.

The location was perfect. Really helpful guy that worked at the front desk, i think his name was Emerson. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a wide variety. Enjoyed the pool top terrace in the evenings. All in all a great stay. You could see Christ the Redeemer from the terrace room was quite noisy.

It took a long time to get the final invoice and had to push several times t get a Nota Fiscal. After a week it popped up in my inbox.

Our stay at Astoria Palace Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has an incredible location right in front of Copacabana Beach, with breathtaking ocean views and a beautiful rooftop area. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and very relaxing after a long day exploring Rio de Janeiro. The breakfast was delicious with many fresh options, and the staff was always kind, attentive, and professional. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and the amazing view from the rooftop pool. A perfect hotel for anyone wanting to enjoy the beauty and energy of Copacabana in comfort and style. Highly recommended!
