The space is beautiful, everyone is nice and thoughtful, best neighborhood in Rio, can't go wrong!

This little place is amazing, especially for lovers of art and everything modernist. Awesome location, amazing staff, interesting curated place and breakfast is to die for! This is my place in Rio! If I could stay longer…so welcoming, comfy, no pressure. Great for a bit of slow living in the city .

The rooms are beautifully designed and the bathrooms are great--it was the best shower I had during the entire trip. The staff is very kind and helpful. It's located just around the bend from restaurants in Santa Theresa, making it easy to get coffee, lunch, or dinner.

It’s a little rough around the edges. It’s a bit more like a hostel than a hotel.

The staff at Modernistas Arte are lovely and took such good care of me while I was staying there. The hotel is small and has a local feel to it, blending in well with its surroundings in Santa Teresa. Breakfast was wonderful in the garden, and my room was clean and comfortable and safe. I really enjoyed my time there ~ thank you to everyone at Modernistas Arte! I quite thoroughly enjoyed my stay there, so I have nothing to contribute to this section.

A truly special place—beautiful art, a warm and inspiring host, and a great location in the heart of Santa Teresa. Everything came together to make it a memorable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

The location looks great in the center of the city but you can’t walk to anywhere. You must take a taxi to anywhere. So it’s isolated.

I absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely be a place to return. The friendliness of the home owners and the staff really adds to the experience. The interior is very stylish, also the room is very comfortable, location is also so so good. nothing

It's really beautiful and in a gorgeous neighborhood, very bohemian. The bedrooms were wow gorgeous and such good value There's lots of mosquitoes- but they provide repellant. A net in the room would be a nice option

The property was decorated in a beautiful style. Stunning artwork and furniture throughout. Extremely clean, nice bed linen and towels, and good products provided (including bottled water). We booked a room with a balcony and received one on the ground floor with shuttered windows only.
