I have back pain history and need a little bit soft mattress. Their mattress might raise lower back pain, but nothing if you are ok with any type of mattress. Also if paying with credit card, 12% mark up/service fee if accidentally choose USD ( a reminder to the front desk. You can let customer choose the currency, like all other merchants and supermarkets do)

Nice beds, lockers, AC in rooms, reasonable price. There's a meditation room upstairs. Five minute walk to the main street and light rail, ten minutes to the Museum of Tomorrow. Note that alcohol/drugs are not allowed, so if you're looking for a loud party hostel, this is not it.

It was alright. Staff were kind and helpful but I preferred staying in Copacabana tbh.

I booked this property during carnival so it was expensive however the facilities were cleaned everyday , and the staff were very nice and helpful Very calm atmosphere Privacy curtains were great and the three story bunk bed made a lot of noise at night , not very safe

Nice staff, good vibes in terms of the Buddhist touch, assuming the owners are thoughtful people Could be cleaner in the rooms, lots of hair on the floor and bed upon check in indicating that no cleaning was done that day

The staff was great and the shower facilities were good also. The private room was great with both fan and AC. There was no vibe, very quiet and extremely hot in the dorm room and common areas. Locations was okay for some things but overall not great

Everything! Very simple, basic hostel but with a chill vibe in the the centre of Rio Nothing

A good place well decorate and quiet. Enough bathroom and a curtain tablet and plug in the bunk bed. Not far from bus and tramway. Not dangerous like people say it but empty at night. This place could be perfect but some details kills the experience. 1st the pillow and mattress cover with plastic is noisy and not comfortable. 2nd only one cleaning a day in the bathroom is really not enough. It's not clean morning and evening late. 3d other people signal already. Putting a fan in the communal area is really needed for more confort. This is not the hostel fault but it's the 1st time in my traveller life that someone steal my food in the fridge.

good.price for rio the staff at the front desk was extremely rude with me, i couldnt understand why she was so mean at me. impolite and lack of respect towards the guest. would never go back there. 1 bathroom per entire floor so it always busy and dirty they charge to leave your luggage after checkout neighborhood unsafe after dark

The location during night time is not the best, other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Simple breakfast on offer, bed was fairly comfortable Not the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in, check in took quite a while too. Not much in the immediate area of note

The staff was so kind! The facilities were clean and maintained. I really loved the yoga and meditation room. Changing the breakfast every other day or two days would have been nice. Overall, wonderful spot!

Location The noise from the restaurant downstairs is unbearable. Expensive. Breakfast was served late. No blanket provided.

Friendly place, well managed, clean, quiet, good Wi-Fi, air-con was working well (and wasn't noisy either), spacious 6-bed-dorm, little breakfast included. Close to Centro, the area is a little deserted, but well lit at night, I felt safe when walking there at night. It is a place I definitely consider to stay again when coming again to Rio. Matrasses are made of plastic, I shared the dorm with a group of young Argentinians, who could have been a little bit more considerate (which, of course, the hostel is not to blame for)

Beautiful hostel and facilities, very clean and relaxing. They offer yoga and meditation classes that are the best you can experience. There is always a very relaxed atmosphere with background music that it is a pleasure to stay in their beautiful living room. Excellent predisposition of the staff and very good vibes from the guests and Marcus.
