Hotel Astoria Copacabana

Proximity to Copacabana Beach. I had to ask the receptionist to have my room made up every day, sometimes more than once a day. Breakfast was poor.

2 to 3 blocks close to Copacabana beach. They borrow towels to take to the beach. Just one card per room, so independence with the person you are staying is limited, otherwise one of you will need to stay awake to open the room door once your partner arrives or leave the other one without electricity inside the room.

O staff é muito educado e muito atencioso, o café da manha é bom o quarto em que eu fiquei era bem grande e a localização muito boa, perto da estação de metro e também próximo a praia. O hotel é um pouco datado mas isso não foi nenhum incômodo. =)

It is 3 blocks close to the beach. They give towels to go to the beach. There are homeless people staying in front of the hotel during the night.

Thé location to the beach The room was so small , I felt claustrophobic and cancelled my booking on the spot - no streaming services on the tv and front desk staff who looked un kept

I stayed here 7 years ago and returned because of the positive experience. Based on this experience I would certainly return. A lovely hotel with exceptional staff. Shoutout to the porters! The gym could open earlier than 9:00.

The Bellboy "Celso" was superb, he is an asset to the Hotel The guy that did my check in, (the fat one with the tatoos) it was not to nice... maybe he was tired, I check in at 8:00PM...

Property is in a great location. 400m away from the beach. Staff was super polite, kind and helpful, especially I need to mention Mr Wagner. He handled all the guests with professionalism and respect. He explained even where can I grab good food, caipirinhas, local party places… He is more than a hotel receptionist. Thank you Mr Wagner for your hospitality. I hope to stay in your hotel again soon!

The staff was very attentive to all of our needs. The breakfast had a lot of good variety of fruits and juices. I chose to stay in a small economy room, but it was extremely comfortable and more than adequate for my needs. When we arrived before checkin, they let us leave our luggage while we did some sightseeing. After checkout, when we still had hours until our flight, they again allowed us to leave our luggage (without charging us) while we explored the city some more. The staff was extremely courteous. I really have no complaints. For the price I was paying I expected simplicty, but got much more.
