Location is great and the staff is polite and welcoming. They have a rooftop with a good scenery. The hotel looks old but well-maintained There wasn’t a single socket near beds. And the ones the were close enough didn’t fit my euro/american plug. Also the breakfast food choice could be broader

Plus: 1. Quiet and specious rooms (no outside noise) 2. Hot water, good water pressure 3. Good breakfast: scrambled eggs (not dried off like in other hotels), 2 kinds of yellow cheese, white chese, ham, large selection of buns and pastry, large selection of fruits, yogurt, 2 coffee machines (expresso, capuchino, latte, hotl chocolate), juice, water. Breakfast served from 6:00-10:00 4. Small safe in each room (for passports, money, etc) 5. After the checkout, we were able to store our suitcases in a secure place 6. 1 block from the beach Minus: 1. In the shower, water was not draining fast enough, so I had to stand in water (ankle level) 2. Not enough outlets in the room 3. There are 2 elevarors; however, 1 was out of order for a whole day (we we on the 11th floor, waiting time was long) 4. We were there in a group of 14 people (6 rooms). 4 rooms were cleaned every day, 2 of them: never 5. Matress is too soft,,you are sinking in it

Nothing to like. everything. Photos are not representative of the hotel. Its a dump. Old - dirty. There is no pool - its a hot tub -and its dirty.

Rooms , location Pool very small , some front desk people is very hard the belt man never help , the rooms no have good view , the bar no work ,

Friendly and helpful staff in the front desk. Facility was average. Location was perfect close to action and multiple beach areas. It was pricey for what it had to offer. TV was not relaying any communication in English. We were told it was due to recent issues that the hotel was facing. Breakfast could have been better. Limited breakfast items was offered.

The location it’s very good and accesible. Problems with the TV, floor with dust.

Breakfast is really good and counts with many options available. The hotel is well located, near one of the most famous beaches of Rio and easy to access.

It is ok! Simple, clean They don’t have blankets for the beds

Hotel very old. Room smelled like cigarettes and bleach. Rooms very noisy - I could hear every shower above me and phones ringing throughout the morning. Elevator very old and sometimes did not work. Tours offered by hotel were a rip off.

The staff was awesome!! Breakfast was basic in options, but tasty. The room had a safe and the hotel is very clean. Short walk to Copacabana. Very safe area with many restaurant options. No lamp on the nightstand.

Comfortable and clean in a great location Expensive and boring amenities. Pathetic gym and tiny pool.

The low rate for a standard room makes this hotel a decent deal for its location if Copacabana is a must. The square in front of the hotel accommodated a local market when I arrived. The smell of fish, sewage and human waste was overpowering. Then came the open top garbage trucks. So the location is far from ideal, complete with its share of homeless people all around. The room itself had seen better days, starting with a sagging curtain and a total lack of of soundproofing, which left no place for imagination as to what my neighbors were up to at any time.e of the day or night. The rooftop pool can netter be described as an oversized jacuzzi and the terrace bar as an empty counter. The staff was professional but not exactly warm or friendly. All in all, this was not my worst stay, but definitely nothing to write home about.

The room was very spacious and had everything we needed! AC worked great which was nice after coming in from long days at the beach. Water pressure was great in the showers as well! Staff was SO kind!! Rafael was so sweet and welcoming and everyone always said hi as we walked in. Staff gave great recommendations for things to do. Breakfast was included and good! They even gave us champagne in our room for NYE! Pool was smaller than expected but we were so close to the beach we never needed to use it
