Hotel Encontros (Adult Only)

Nothing This hotel is a scam, I've contacted them to ask for an early checking, they refused Then when I asked for a refund, they simply stopped corresponding with me The owners are only trying to get your money without providing any service ACCOMODATION TO AVOID!!

The room and facility is nice but it's one of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on. If you don't mind a hard bed then this place is nice.

Air conditioner, sort of work, but I had to keep restarting it That’s probably just an issue in my room though

Worst place I’ve ever stayed, nothing positive to say. Everything was plastic, the bed was so uncomfortable, the bathroom was full of mold. It was truly a horrible place to stay.

Location was great. Bed was basic but comfortable and clean. The room is very small even for a single person, but sufficient for anyone wanting a cheap place to stay centrally. The office is manned 24 hours, but the receptionist was not customer friendly or helpful. Need to show your key every time leaving and coming back to the room, why? The air-conditioner did a good job of keeping the room cool, but could not be turned off if it got too cold as all the knobs were missing. The only way I could control it was to unplug the power cord. The bathroom shower rose fell off when I turned the taps on so the shower was from an open pipe. There are no facilities in the room for coffee/tea. Steep entry-way up stairs making it difficult to carry up bags. Noisy external environment with all the other air-conditioners running.

Might be a place where people who predominantly work at night earn living.

The car parking is on the ground floor of the building and it doesn't have much windows so some of the Exhaust Fumes from the cars enter the hotel through the hallway and then reach the bedrooms which have only internal windows open on the hallway (at least my room was like that). The reception have a thick glass with not openings dividing the guests from the receptionist. This is fine if the check in is fast and smooth (like it was with me, with no need to say any word, just show the passport and pay) but what if there is need to ask some questions? specially for a foreigner speaking poor Portuguese like me. It would be complicated understanding each other being divided by the thick glass.

Room 228 it's one of the best room here. Awesome Cost&benefits ratio. FREE AND INDOOR PARKING LOT. Nothing to complain about. Just a warning: don't stay near the reception area. It's noisy even after midnight.

- Nice staff - Free Parking - A lot of restaurants for lunch nearby. For dinner, you have to walk 5 min to mem de sa street. - don't stay near the reception, it's a bit noisy. The staff warned me about that. - bring your own pillow. It's a cheap hotel, so don't expect a fancy and soft pillow.

The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and quiet, there is a metro station and tramway station very close The neighborhood after 7pm gets very quiet, there aren’t many places to eat when it’s dark, but during the day it’s pretty good to find everything

location TV and air conditioner’s remote control weren’t working, too many mosquitos, the duvet was stinking.

Location was ok. Shower was good. Staff were very friendly. We were in a room at the front. The window was half glass & half wooden slats which didn't close so you could hear street noise.
