It wasn’t very clean

I only stayed for one night but the check in, the staff, the room were all fine. The structure of the building and the inside the room is not your luxury hotel but it has everything you need to spend the night. My room came with aircon and a little balcony. The noise did not bother me from the clubs near by since I can sleep through anything but some may not find this to be the case. Earplugs can fix that. I do want to see me counter space in the bathroom to place your items but again is not a luxury hotel is good for a night sleep.

Passable

Close to bars area, that’s about it Old building, ugly room, conventional key not electronic, looks like a hostel, the room had no comfort at all, old bed, old doors, basic bathroom, no lights or a good mirror, it didn’t look like the pictures

Friendly staff. There's a concert or club next year that played loud music passed 3AM on Saturdays. Good location if you party there, but not for tired travelers who want early rest.

Location The room , not actual windows

Our stay at this hotel had both positives and drawbacks. What we really liked was the location - it was right in the heart of the city, which was exactly what we wanted since we were traveling with a group of friends for a few days and wanted to see as much as possible. The hotel was easy to find, and we felt safe throughout our stay. The staff was helpful and allowed us to leave our belongings at the reception until our flight on the last day, which made exploring the city much easier. The room had everything we needed, considering the price. However, the biggest problem was the noise. We only found out after arriving that the hotel was right across from a club, with the music blasting until 4 AM. The entire building seemed to vibrate from the noise. We expected some noise during Carnival, but it was much louder inside the hotel than we thought. You should fix the shelf above the sink in the bathroom - it was barely holding on, and things kept sliding off. Also, there was no proper surface or furniture in the bathroom to place our belongings, which made it quite inconvenient. Another drawback was the WiFi, which was practically nonexistent. No matter how many times we tried, we were never able to connect.

Great place to stay for Carnival. Very clean, breakfast in the morning, and friendly staff. Very close to Lapa and the bloccos going on there.

The location was perfect The bed Door was difficult to open with the key

Location, location, location... The hotel is old (that means historic) located in the middle Lapa district ( all the party and more party around), if you are going to Carnaval it is a great place to stay, the staff is super friendly and helpful, is near of the most interesting places in the center but the included breakfast gets the gold medal Since it is in the party zone it's too noisy by night, it doesn't have a pool.

Staff and location. Hotel needs some repairs and renewals. It is bit old for the price you pay.

Great free breakfast. The staff was incredible. Thank you. Loud music coming from a nearby nightclub. Many homeless people around the property.

Central Rio. Misunderstanding over fees. I recommend that the fee is paid in advance for all hotels in Rio. I booked a 2 single bed room and was given a 3 bed for a higher price. I complained and they said the difference in price was due to 'cambio', even though I had booked in less than 24 hours. I asked to change to a smaller room and staff said the hotel was fully booked. This happens in Rio, it gets over crowded for turn of the year events. The fan didn't work, the window didn't close and we couldn't sleep with the huge noise just under our window. I think their 3-star classification needs reviewing. I won't come back.

Do Café-da-manhã, do chuveiro e do conforto da cama.

Kind, caring, helpful staff willing to go the extra mile. Rodriguez and Francisco were extremely helpful with booking tours/night buses, advising on getting about. Both are very friendly and knowledgeable. Clean, basic accommodation. Great location for amenities. I felt safe at hotel and area. Lovely breakfast with a good selection. Love the samba night at the bar across the road, If you don't like noise, it's worth taking along ear plugs as it's loud .i'll definitely stay here again. Nothing
