The owner personally contacted us to make sure we found parking and the hotel and were able to get into our room since we arrived after the reception was staffed. This is a small, family-run establishment, very cute and comfortable. Nothing. Everything was great.

Location , charm, family who runs it

Fabulous location in the heart of charming Riquewihr. Nice to have access to private parking lot. Very friendly staff. Because the buildings are older, it was tough to carry our luggage up narrow stairs. The caffeinated instant coffee was not resupplied after first night so only decaf the second morning.

Nothing.
-
No shower curtain in the bathroom making it difficult and messy to take showers

The hôtel was cold and there was no where in the lobby or in the room that two people could sit in the event of a rainy day. The Bar was closed. The breakfast was very average for the price

Loved the location and historical feel. Close to many types of French countryside.

The room was decorated in a traditional way, the hotel has a fantastic location within the town walls. Breakfast was great.

This was our favorite spot for so many reasons. Great location in a charming village, quaint, adorable and thoughtful amenities, super helpful/friendly hosts, etc. they were also the only booking that honored our request for a higher up room with view - we would go back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful hotel in the most amazing town in Alsace

We loved our stay at Hotel à l’Oriel. We got (by the kindness of the staff) better rooms than booked as we visited during low season. They had just renovated one of the bathrooms and it looked amazing, we loved both rooms. Very cosy family hotel in the heart of Riquewihr. Staff was very helpful and kind. Isolation was good also as we did not hear any noises during the night. We will always remember our stay here, and especially Petit Frank will always be in our hearts.

Highly recommend This is not about this hotel ,but in general after 8 p.m it is difficult to find a place to eat. Not drinking wine :)

Location and Ambiente. Room on the Sunny side…made the room very hot. However, the Hotel can‘t Control the weather. Perhaps an in room air conditioner for the rooms facing the Southeast.

Wonderful hospitality. Beautiful rooms and lovely breakfast!

Lovely hotel within a walled village. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond. They ensured there was breakfast that met our child’s dietary needs.

The town of Riquewihr is very small, within its walls, surrounded by green vineyards. The buildings are old and charming. The town's business is wine, plus tourism. The hotel is nestled in an old building on a narrow side street with access to a side gate into the town. Inside is traditional and cozy, with a pleasant reception area, an efficient elevator, a lovely breakfast room, and a useful staircase. Our room was fine, not large, wood-beamed, and overlooking the little street. The pleasant owners also are in charge of a couple of restaurants, so they are not available in the evenings. The breakfasts were very pleasant, but rather pricey, at $17 @, as is the parking. conveniently close and private, at $12 a day. But within our budget.
