Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago-Deerfield/Lincolnshire by IHG

We reserved 3 rooms with the hope of enjoying the pool and hot tub. It was my mom's 75th bday and this was a surprise stay. I called right after I reserved and spoke with Daisy to confirm that the hot tub and pool were operating properly, she said yes. As far as she knew , they were. We arrived and surprised her only to be surprised ourselves in am a certified pool operator which means I maintain hot tubs and pools to Illinois standards. After the front desk attendant, Jose, rudely told me the maintenance person would be called. I saw the tech arrive and run a hose to the hot tub. Which means he probably added hot water. After getting in i noticed the water was like warm. At this point I didn't say anything to the front desk. I also heard demo construction at 7pm on the second floor. Completely unacceptable for a hotel in these suburbs. I will be contacting the manager from tje hotel and people at expedia. This was a terrible celebration for my mom. I Will be looking to get these refunded so I can take her again.

location was great and room/beds were comfortable. Our room was at the first floor so access to getting to the dining room and out to the parking lot was easy. pool wasn't that clean

Very clean and friendly staff. We missed breakfast by 30 minutes and the gentleman let us grab a couple of items to eat. So nice of him.

Check in staff was extremely rude. They up charged our stay. Hot tub was cold and had chunks floating in it. The pool was cloudy, very cold, and dirty, there were tons of beds outside lined up and we were concerned about bed bugs all night. Wouldn’t recommend.

I like how they was very helpful. My husband left his bag there and they said they did not find it. I like the place it is a nice place to stay!!

This was a horrible hotel to stay at, the staff was no help, the pool was dirty. I been tryin to to get a hold of a manager or hr nothing have emailed called. Horrible customer service

Check in was amazing with such friendly staff, even letting us check in early. Our room was clean and the location was safe and very quiet. Breakfast was amazing and different every day.

The tv was difficult to use and not very many channels

The hotel was in a good location. The pool was really cloudy and the hot tub was foaming, I think they could both use a good cleaning.

We stayed in a newly redecorated room. It was clean fresh and welcoming. Breakfast was good and appreciated. I hate having to go out and find a restaurant, especially when I need to be at a meeting or want to get going. Staff was pleasant and helpful. My husband enjoyed the pool on a very hot day.

Staff was pleasant. Fire alarm at midnight, construction noise at time, not many healthy choices for breakfast

Quiet location.

The bed and air conditioner. The tvs in both rooms and the bed. There was no crib. Instead they were new ones outside in boxes still and we were promised a crib. Very unprofessional.
