Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke

This was the first accessible room that fit our needs completely, such as lots of grab bars in the right places, a high bed mattress, large bathroom, plenty of room to roll around EXCEPT between the foot of the bed and dresser there was barely enough room to roll through, making nightime bathroom trips difficult. An other problem was no handicap parking anywhere in the front of the building. We had to go to the back which was poorly lighted, which made unloading the car or going somewhere after dark very concerning as it takes longer for us to get to the car and load his wheelchair and get in the car. We felt very unsafe at night and could be perfect targets for someone up to no good. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Exceptional

The bed wasn’t made very well and there was a hair on the sheets. An extra blanket in the room would be nice since the quilt on top was worn and thin. Those are my recommendations. Overall a very good stay.

Parking facilities were insufficient for guests. We requested rooms with views of the city and mountains, and the receptionist confirmed the request would be met; however, upon check-in, we were surprised to find the rooms faced the hotel's internal courtyard. We also found the suite unclean, with pieces of chocolate on the carpet. Finally, the breakfast buffet offered a limited selection, and the quality of some items—such as the butter—was poor, although the restaurant itself was very clean. The staff were also professional and friendly.

The room we stayed in was okay nothing special, the staff was friendly enough but nothing special. The prices for the snack shop were pretty insane so we didn't bother with that. But hey free parking! If you have water bottles in your room don't drink them or they will charge you $2 each. They have a pool but it seemed kind of meh. Everything was just average.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for an event that was being hosted there. The staff was amazing and always super friendly and helpful. Our room was great; very clean. I would absolutely stay there again.

The distance from anything is misleading with this property. It is on a hill and it is stated that things are a couple minutes of walking away.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in Roanoke visiting family. The staff is very friendly and it’s very clean. Beautiful Mountain View.

The view was AWESOME. And the breakfast is excellent. Everything was very nice. Staff was exceptional. I'll be going back.

The breakfast was delicious and had the most amazing staff that made my daughter's birthday special! The room was clean and spacious. The hotel sits on a hill and overlooks the mountains with a nice view!

The staff at this hotel are incredible. So friendly and helpful. The pool was open but not heated. We were told the heater was not working. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was cold because the heater needs to be fixed. My daughter loved it no matter what temperature but it was too bad.
