Super location. In the middle of it all. Parking was a breeze. Would stay here again. Very cool retro vibe !!!!

The hotel and staff were very nice, however in the parking lot across the street there was some kind of street party, and there was loud music coming from some of the cars until around 3 am. We called the front desk around 12:30 am to cpmplain and the lady said she would call the police to complain, but the music continued. This was on a Saturday night, so the hotel is probably peaceful on weeknights.

Excellent stay!!!

Highest recommendation! Amazing staff, interesting decor and a great location especially if you are arriving by train. An especially nice touch was our luggage left with the bell stand being placed in our room when it was ready.

Perfectly lovely hit in a very unique and beautiful historic building.we absolutely loved the hotel, and the location is perfect for wandering around downtown Roanoke!

Super-friendly staff, comfortable and quiet room in a remarkable building with a great location. Highly recommended!

Loved the character of the hotel. It was in a really good location. AC in the room a little aggressive.

Excellent experience all around! This place is really cool and different. Fun time!

Lovely small hotel within walking distance of multiple restaurants & street markets. Room was spacious & clean. Bed very comfortable. Easy in & out parking nearby. Room was quiet & area safe too walk about
-
The room I booked said it would sleep 3 people. It only had a king bed. That sleeps 2 people, not 3.

A hotel in a former bank. Nicely appointed decor and restaurant onsite. Location walkable to shops and restaurants. I suggest air freshener in the hallways would be great, but only a suggestion. Would definitely stay again. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable.

Really cool old building, easy parking (and cheap), great location, helpful staff Bar was a bit small, no lounge areas/lobby really

Check in staff could have been friendly- not pleasant

Unique, lots of character. So glad we found it. The rooms were well-appointed and extremely clean. Convenient to the local downtown area and restaurants.

Everything was fabulous... Parking and no pool but I can live without it...

Beautifully maintained older hotel, that has been remodeled. Big king-size bedroom. Huge walkin shower. Breakfast was good too, especially meeting Leanne Morgan there the next morning after just seeing her stand-up show the night before! It was great 👍 So great!!!!

This is a beautiful building in desperate need of a good cleaning. The pink couches in the lobby are so dirty they look grey. The carpets are filthy and tables in the lobby caked in sticky substances. The restaurant is the absolute worst. We went there twice and each time was worse than the one before. The server was shockingly hostile and genuinely nasty. The wait to get food was well over two hours (with only three other couples and all ordering just drinks). The food was cold and greasy cheese in a raw dough boat with a raw egg and an obviously cannned tin tasting beet “salad” with an acidic vinaigrette that matched the server’s disposition. It was inedible. In two hours she never came back to offer water refills or see if we wanted another cocktail (we did). They were out of half the menu (drinks as well as food) and yet we were charged for items they didn’t even have to sell. Our bill was well over $100 for horrible food, overcharges which they refused to correct, and about the most unpleasant service I have ever experienced. The rooms themselves are nice, but small and signs of age are everywhere in cracked vanities and chipped paint. I think this place would be nice with some tlc and eliminating the restaurant, which isn’t stocked, staffed or operating competently.
