Nice auberge with a cosy atmosphere in a lovely area. Nearby we made an interesting ladder walk, route 43. Toilets and showers didn't work very well

Breakfast was ready at 08:30 instead of 08:00 which delayed our travel plans a bit for the day but it was easter weekend so i understand also. The bedding in the rooms were very old and the pillow was almost completely flat but again for the price i think it could be acceptable. I just feel that for a bit of a higher price and better bedding with pillows i would be easier for me to go there again.

The location is peaceful and in a very beautiful area. The bar is well stocked. The bathroom has a macerator toilet, and the bath is on a raised platform.

Having a place to sit in the evening other than your room. The fireplace burning was so inviting. Difficult to find for us navigation in car sent us elsewhere

Great breakfast. Good beds (but pillows need replacing). Lovely building, typical Ardennois. Old building that comes with its typical up/downsides. Very quiet area. Host is friendly albeit somewhat distant. Great surroundings, a good basis for the fantastic walks in the area. Modern little bathroom in our room. But - and this was a first - the shower water actually remained slightly too hot, even on the coldest setting, haha. The sink was clogged. Did not expect it to be so noisy in the building itself - We were above the living room and could hear every conversation there - We were unlucky enough to have people coming and going until quite late in the evening. You can hear everything in the hallway. - Toilets are a specific system (not just flushing) and quite noisy, we could hear the toilets from the other rooms as well Lumpy pillows need replacing - the matresses were good though.
