Alpine Inn Rockford

The rooms were old, smelly, with lots of visible wear and tear. Also, the beds were soft, lumpy, and slanted. Avoid unless you are desperate. I rented for two nights, and ate the second night and went somewhere else.

I look for clean and safe and those criteria were met. The facility is old and looks like it's been neglected some. Some repairs have been made, but it doesn't look like they were done by a professional. The bed has seen better days, but wasn't the worst I've ever slept in. I didn't pay luxury prices so I didn't expect luxury facilities. I would stay there again.

Note: Only bar soap, bring your own shampoo. Coffee provided mornings in office lounge

Excellent location, big room, nice mini fridge Lacking shampoo but when asked at the office it was supplied so assuming an overlook from housekeeping.

Big hotel in a good location with big easy parking. Outside of rooms and sidewalk are a little rough and dirty. The twin queen bed room we had came with new carpet, fresh paint and new bathroom. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. However cigarette burns on some of furniture. Room did not smell at all and we slept well. Not bad for a night and very low cost.

Bed was comfortable but glad i had my own pillow. Bathroom clean. No breakfast. When i asked for recommendation for dinner they sent me to a place that was already closed for tge day so a wasted trip. Get what you pay for.

Stayed for 1 night before taking a flight! Perfectly fine! Coffee was delicious! Staff was very helpful!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient. The carpet felt sticky in spots. Even though it was a labeled non smoking room, it had obviously been smoked in. The main door did not have a deadbolt which made me nervous. The bathroom door did not securely close.

Good size room, staff was friendly and a comfortable bed

The location of the bathroom. Using it late at night did not interfere with the other person sleeping or watching TV. Plenty of room if you needed to hang items up. Couldn't hear other guests. Really didn't dislike anything.
