The only positive thing about this Airbnb is the location. It’s close to the Vatican, there is a metro station nearby, and getting around Rome is easy. Unfortunately, everything else was a huge disappointment. The staff was incredibly unprofessional from the moment we booked. Before we even arrived, they kept messaging us about check-in. They said check-in started at 4:00 PM, which was fine. However, once we landed in Rome and informed Giuseppe that we were on our way from the airport by metro, he suddenly told us we had until 4:30 PM to arrive. We had just landed and still had to go through passport control, collect our luggage, and travel across the city. Travelers cannot control how long airport procedures take, so giving guests only a 30-minute arrival window is completely unreasonable. When we explained the situation, Giuseppe said he would come back “around 6 or 7 PM.” Around 6 or 7? Which one? Were we supposed to stand outside the apartment for hours waiting for him to decide when to show up? We then called Flavia to explain the situation, but instead of helping, she simply repeated that Giuseppe would only wait until 4:30 PM and then return around 6 or 7 PM. I’ve stayed in many accommodations around the world, and I have never experienced such poor communication or such an unprofessional check-in process. Giuseppe had an attitude from the start, making us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. The breakfast was another huge disappointment. This is advertised as a bed and breakfast, but the “breakfast” consisted of the cheapest groceries from the store next door: a few slices of salami, butter, juice, packaged sweets, and sugary cereal. It was exactly the same every single day. Even worse, they would leave only about five slices of salami and five portions of butter for up to six guests. If you weren’t one of the first people to eat, there was often nothing left.

Disappointing Stay – Does Not Match the Description This accommodation absolutely did not meet our expectations or how it presents itself online. There was a constant issue with something, making it impossible to even go for lunch without worrying about being checked in. Initially, we were told we could store our bags at the property until our room was ready, but upon arrival, a staff member rudely told us that this was absolutely not allowed. The next day, however, we found new guests’ luggage stored in the kitchen!? I don’t understand. Breakfast was another disaster – moldy ham in the fridge, no restocked butter, and on top of that, they literally message you at 10:05 to tell you breakfast is over and you need to leave. We booked a room with a private bathroom and toilet, yet we were given a room without either, having to use shared facilities in the hallway. Overall, a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, we absolutely do not recommend staying here.

Comfortable, clean, stuff was amazing and really helpfull. Location is great, 3 minutes from Vatican. We had our bathroom, but it was in the shared space so it is not completely private.

The owner was very enthusiastic and booked the airport shuttle service for me.

Good aircondition, clean room, good WIFI. "The reservation didn't mention that our room had an external washroom. We were only informed after being charged, which doesn't seem fair. Additionally, the water was extremely cold. We notified the host multiple times (and have records of our communication), but despite their assurances that it would be fixed, we still had to shower in cold water. Our main concerns are: why weren't we informed about the external washroom at the time of reservation, and why isn't this detail included in the host's profile on (link unavailable)?
