Some of the staff was nice...But my family came in for an event and complained that a number of staff members were very rude and curt to the guests. Rude staff. Not helpful front desk. Lack of basic amenities

The actual hotel is great. Clean, good rooms, nice bar and helpful employees. The problem is that the location is perfect for visiting the Vatican museums, but the area is bad which in the hotels defense, is not their fault. The whole area near the Vatican is dirty and a bit unsettling, which was a huge disappointment. I will say that that I am happy we got lucky with this accommodation because there are not many nice places to stay around there. Next time I would book something in a nicer area and take an uber or taxi to visit the Vatican. Area is terrible, poor Vatican City :(

Great Rome Location, signage on building could help locate it, quality and options could be improved with restaurant, (we only ate dinner there). Or, if not enough dinner business change menu to lots of appetizer options would bring in more for drinks and yummy snacks instead of "trying" with dinner. Staff was excellent, drinks were excellent. Everything else was great. restaurant food options.

Very close to the Vatican. Excellent restaurants close by. Metro just 5 minutes walk away for easy access to all the sights.....and cheap! Good breakfast. Excellent staff throughout.

Wonderful property, welcoming and attentive staff. Wish we would have stayed multiple nights. We loved our king duplex room and the food at the restaurant was great for a quick lunch.

The hotel was clean, the room was a fine size, the sauna and spa area was nice, check in was smooth. We were really disappointed in our stay at this hotel. My friend and I both have young children at home so one of the main drivers of the trip was some rest. However, it was probably the worst night’s sleep I’ve had a hotel. The room was unbelievably hot, and had no way of cooling it down. Aware that there are restrictions in Rome on use of air con, but the hotel did nothing to balance this out. No fans available and the room we could just not cool down the room we were in. We reached breaking point at 2am and a porter used a tool to open our window a bit more but we had to sleep with the thick curtains wide open to actually let air in so then was woken by the sun (and noise). Less of an issue but still annoying was a really bright control unit in the room that emits a strong purple light which you also can’t turn off (the fix we were offered was placing a facecloth over it). We raised these issues with the hotel and were incredibly disappointed at their response, which almost entirely placed blame on us weirdly. I’m amazed no-one else has commented on how hot the hotel is, so leaving a review for fellow light sleepers!

We had an excelent stay at Spring house hotel . The king dublex suite we stayed was exactly what we needed for our stay (two adults and two teenagers) . Clean , new and comfortable room - large bathroom accommodated great our family . The kids shared a bed ( double couch very comfortable and wide - great pillows and beddings ) on the low level of the room , while the double bed was on the top level of the suite - all beddings were at a very good quality . We loved the windows on the rooftop that could open automatically and feel the fresh air ! the Terrace upstairs was so beautiful decorated and nice to stay outside ‘! The breakfast had a lot of choices and in a very good quality and many choices ( fresh fruits , choices for healthy food but also for a nice breakfast with eggs and chese , ham etc also salats - and sweets ) . The service at the hotel was excellent ( room cleaning very good - the concierge was excellent ( we booked transfers from the airport and locally .. very good service for everything we needed ) and people working at the hotel were polite and with a smile .The gym was good enough for practice .We loved also the design inside the room and the spaces at the hotel /and the colours. SPRING HOUSE is the correct name ! Highly recommended this hotel as a very good choice for Rome , as is a modern hotel , clean , with comfortable rooms and excellent services - close to the city center . everything was great

Loved the proximity to St. Peter’s Square, as it is close enough (only a 10 min walk), but far enough from the tumultuous crowds, which if you choose to stay at a closer hotel, you will encounter. Having the hotel just far enough to avoid all the noise, crowds and busyness was perfect…during the day (ok), but at night (I rather peace and quite). The staff was wonderful, everyone!!! We did not interact with anyone that was not nice, they were all so pleasant, helpful and truly courteous, they went above and beyond (although Chiara was the sweetest one of them all)! Wonderful to have a steamer in the room, great addition! The mini bar could offer a few more things, very bare and plain. The refrigerator should be stocked with items, even if it’s not free and we would have to purchase, it’s an option I rather have, then to have nothing at all. Cocktail prices are a bit expensive and after staying 5 nights and trying a few different options, we noticed they were pricey and barely any alcohol. The pillows are unfortunately awful….they were thinned out (maybe too used), very flat and we’re not comfy at all.
