Nice hotel inside, nice bar and lounge area Misleading description… I chose this hotel because it said airport shuttle in the description, only to arrive at the Rome airport to find out there was no actual hotel shuttle and I had to pay for transportation to get me to this hotel that was 45 minutes away from the airport. I only chose it for my one night there because I needed something close to the hotel with a shuttle service, so I was extremely disappointed. The ride I got from the airport to the hotel cost me €45 and the ride back to the airport was about the same. It was not close to any public transportation either, so very inconvenient. I even called and tried to cancel once I discovered this when I was at the airport, and they pretty much said tough luck. No refund, no compromise, no apology.

It was cheaper than other options The staff are grumpy not just in an Italian way because so many Italians are so hospitable just in a way they don’t seem to like foreigners

The staff was a bit unpleasant.

Nice amenities. Beautiful grounds and sitting areas (the roof terrace and near the pool area were lovely. Tasty breakfast and great flexibility with checking in time and 12pm checking time was a great way for us to prepare our items. The spring mattress was pretty bad. We stayed there for 4 nights and our back was hurting after the first night. For such a nice hotel we expected better beds.

The lobby and breakfast The beds were rock solid. We had to ask if they could do something about it. They then put a topper on our bed. Why didn’t they just always have it there. The first night the ac didn’t work. So hot in the building. No compensation. And then the second day the front staff would only turn our room to 25 degrees. Not comfortable at all. We had no control in our room of the temperature. It was like they were trying to save money.

They had a great breakfast with lots of choices. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It has a nice gym, hard to find in some hotels. I was not crazy about the location. Without the car, it was a little distant to attractions. I also did not like the pillows in the room. I ask for another one and it was about the same. One pillow was flat as a pancake and the other hard and huge impossible to sleep with. We were there six nights, I went to the mall and bought me a pillow. This was our 15th hotel on this long trip in Europe. It was the second worst with pillows. The last thing I did not like was the front desk needs to learn how to smile and be pleasant. A bunch of guys, get some charming ladies or some friendly dudes. The only one that was half way polite was the shaved head guy. The others should get in a job they enjoy.

Room size was good. Breakfast should have had cut up fruit. Eggs were not good. Prefer not to have coffee from machine. Waiter at dinner was very nice and accommodating. Bathroom floors are VERY SLIPPERY when wet due to shower water overflowing. The shower head needs to be positioned just right in order for it to now overflow onto the floor. It is actually very dangerous and easy to fall due to it being very slippery.

The food was very disappointing for breakfast and for dinner. The service was quite slow and the waiter visibly looked like he did not enjoy his job.

I loved how big was the room. It was not far for the Vatican which that was nice The only thing I didn’t like was that the bathtub would overflow with water other than that it was wonderful

Italy now charges extra tax for each person for every day you stay besides what you already pay for the hotel.

It is clean My friend asked for iron, they have one for one hour only and when she was 20 mins late the reception was rude with her. Also, I order small water bottle to my room they charged me 5€ for room service and 2€ for the water. I understand water price but thats the first time a hotel charge me room service fees ! Room service is by default always included within the room price

The neighborhood looks run down and not too safe at night.

    Everything is good there

Clean and great breakfast which was included. Staff very accommodating and responsive. The heat was way to high & there was no way to regulate it with our room. I had to ask to have it turned off, but I don’t think they did that and it made sleeping very difficult.
