Amazing location! Very friendly staff! Tight room. A little dated.

The hotel Labelle has a nice location close to the Coliseum and Forum, checkin 24 hours, very flexible and very polity and helpful staff. There is a restaurant nearby which is fairly good: The Base. Air conditioning worked okay. The bathroom inside the room was very small, uncomfortable, The facilities and overall hotel facilities are basic, very basic. Not very hot water, not much water pressure.

Awesome location! I could only get a Colosseum ticket for the day I arrived, so I chose this hotel because it’s really close to the Colosseum. Surprisingly, the facilities were very good, with a hair dryer, kettle, and excellent air conditioning. Despite being there during peak summer, with temperatures around 38°C, the room was not too hot. It’s an old building, but everything is very well maintained and there is an elevator. Overall, a great choice for its location and comfort.

Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Labelle was disappointing and did not meet the expectations created by the listing on Booking.com. The most serious issue was the condition of the bathroom. There was extensive visible mold, which created an unsanitary environment and was not acceptable for a paid accommodation. In addition, construction work in the surrounding area started very early every morning, around 6:00 AM, causing significant noise and disturbing our sleep throughout our stay. There was no clear warning in the hotel description about the ongoing construction or the expected level of noise. Had this information been disclosed in advance, we would not have selected this property. The building and hotel setup were also different from what we expected. Hotel Labelle occupies only one floor of an older multi-floor commercial building, so the atmosphere does not feel like a traditional hotel. It feels more like staying in a few converted rooms inside an office/residential building rather than a complete hotel facility. The elevator was another concern. It was an old model, frequently not working properly, and the door did not always close or operate in a way that felt safe. This was especially inconvenient when carrying luggage.

Value, location Nothing

We had a fantastic quadruple / family room - very spacious and extremely clean. Lovely old building - clean and well-maintained. Lovely features ... tiled and terazzo floors. Great facilities - toiletries, tea/coffee, kettle and fridge. Fantastic location - so near to the Colosseum and Forum. 30 mins maximum walk to Ara Pacis, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain. Our room overlooked the Forum. The staff were so personable and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. This was such a reasonably priced stay for the location - had everything we needed for visiting sites. The hotel takes up one floor of a nice apartment block - felt very safe, well-maintained. Beds are extremely comfy. There are no food / bar services which is not a problem at all - there are plenty of restaurants downstairs which serve throughout the day, including breakfast. This hotel is an absolute gem. Heartily recommended.

Helpful staff, great location. It can be slightly noisy - but that comes with being in a busy tourist location.
